Chapter 7
"Hey dude! You're doing really good!" Nick said through a huge grin.
John laughed, "Thanks! You too! But this is where I surpass you!"
Both boys kept mashing buttons with such speed and dexterity that a crowd began to swarm around them. People were cheering the two on, excited by the battle.
"Alright Nick, here comes my finisher!"
"You got it man! I'll just counter with mine bro!"
The boys watched their screens with anticipation, the crowd had fallen silent. Everyone was waiting for the result of the final attack. When suddenly both games let out a low beep and a message flashed on the screen: "Tie Game!"
Nick laughed, "Well how do you like that?"
John smiled, "It was an intense battle Nick. We'll have to do it again sometime."
Nick nodded, "Absolutely!"
The crowd dispersed as Nick and John parted ways.
