The area is covered in a sepia hue, all except for the odd pools of very shallow, steaming hot water, warmed by the volcanic vein that reaches far outward throughout the mountain range. Tall pillars of heavy stone sprout out from the ground here and there, at least three feet in diamater and between ten and fourteen feet tall.
