Default Re: [RP] The Secrets of Fells Church: Ghost World

"I've been Vervained... and I think I broke my left ankle." Kotomi responded, bringing the concerned look on Aiden‘s face to worsen. "We have to get out of here quickly. Rebekah, Finn and Kol are trying to keep me captive, though I don't know why. I went after them when I said I needed some air before, and then Kol knocked me out. When I woke up I was in a bedroom, and when I tried to move I felt the burning of Vervain in my body. Klaus actually helped me escape..." She paused, and Aiden‘s expression shifted to one of shock. Even though Klaus had promised to keep them from harm, somehow it was still strange to see it actually happening. "He's already keeping his word, about keeping everyone safe..."

"Well it certainly looks like it." Aiden was about to answer when Rebekah's voice suddenly came from behind him. The red haired teen’s eyes narrowed as he turned around and rose to his feet. He already knew that this confrontation wouldn’t end without some sort of fight. "I must say, my brother is being such a pain."

"You figured out I was gone. I thought Klaus was supposed to be distracting you." Kotomi growled.

"Oh he was." Finn responded. "When we figured out Klaus was trying to stall us Kol quickly ran up to the room, finding that you weren't there. So the three of us quickly followed your scent."

"We don't want to hurt you, Kotomi. We just need you for bait to lure out one of the Bennett bloodline Witches and kill one of them." Kol explained.

"You aren't going to touch Bonnie or Diana. It's bad enough that you killed my best friend and his son." Kotomi hissed, and Aiden noticed her try to stand up, turning to look at her as she winced and gave a groan of pain.

"We're sorry that it has to come down to this." The ginger stepped in front of Kotomi as Rebekah spoke again, her attention then shifting to her siblings. "We should take Aiden as bait too. Let's get him."

Aiden cursed under his breath as the three Originals each picked up a sharp tree branch from the ground and lunged at him at the same time. He managed to dodge with his Vampire speed at the last second, although he felt one of the branches catch his left arm, leaving a rip in the sleeve of his hoodie to reveal a bloody cut underneath.

Aiden’s first thought was to just take Kotomi and run after he created a chance for himself, but the three siblings seemed to have already anticipated his plan, one of them remaining near the younger Vampire at all times to guard her.

“Things would be so much easier if all of you would just cooperate.” Rebekah said as she lunged at Aiden again, the fiery haired teen sprinting out of the way once more at the last second. “Why are you even protecting them? You’ve only known them for a day; how does that make anything that’s going on your business?”

“It wasn’t any of my business.” Aiden responded, wincing in pain as the branch from Kol pierced him in the side, the older Vampire having caught him off guard, giving him little time to completely dodge the attack. “But now that I’ve gotten myself involved with them, it is. I understand your intentions, but your way of going about them are wrong.”

“What would you know?” Rebakah hissed as Finn came at Aiden from behind just as he was pulling out the branch from Kol‘s attack, the red haired teen almost sensing him too late. He quickly whirled around and caught the branch just before it reached him, taking Finn by the arm and throwing him into a nearby tree. Things would have been so much easier if there weren’t three of them… He could take on three normal Vampires, but not three Originals at once.

“I don’t know anything.” Finally, he responded to Rebekah as he turned back around to face her. “But I do know that if your plans endanger Kotomi and her friends, then it’s my problem too. I’m not going to sit by idly and allow you to kill any of them - no matter what the cause. They‘re all my friends now, too.”

Rebekah didn’t respond, instead lunging at the ginger once more with the sharp branch drawn back. Her siblings advanced as well, one on each side of her, and when Aiden tried to retreat, he found himself backed against a tree.

“Sh*t…” He reached up and caught Rebekah by her wrist just before she was able to strike him with the branch, struggling to keep her at arm’s length for a few moments before throwing her a few feet away. However, he couldn’t fend off both Finn and Kol, the latter using his Vampire speed to run up to Aiden, taking him by the neck and slamming him into the ground. Rebekah picked up the branch from the ground where she had dropped it, walking over to where Kol and Finn had Aiden pinned down, the Original struggling against their grip.

The desperation made a fiery aura begin to appear around Aiden, a dim light appearing in his hands. He seldom used his special ability, but this seemed to be a time that called for it. However, he couldn’t seem to muster the strength to summon his ability before Rebekah appeared over him with the branch, raising it into the air.

“We’re sorry about this.”

OoC: I originally had something so much better planned, but in the end it turned out like this. orz
