I actually like Hold-Item and Trade evolutions.

the reason i like then so much, is that un-like evolution stones, the pokemon that evolve by trade still learn the same moves as it's pre-evolved forms, even after evolution, same with Held-Item evolutions. (i.e Electabuzz ==> Electavire)
