Well, I've been tending towards some UU options when it comes to ingame. Krabby, Koffing, Exeggcute, and Mankey are my usual options for ingame. Basically anything can sweep ingame, so I like to shake it up a bit. I currently train an Arbok, a Primeape, and a Fearow in FR, in addition to Vileplume, Dragonair, and an Arcanine as fallbacks if by some weird turn of events something gets lucky with a critcal SE.

Horsey. Nuff said. Kingdra rule. Honestly Horesea are one of the best pokemon to start with. It also can be bred with some decent moves right off the bat such as Octazooka, and Dragonbreath.

Aside from this any of the pre-evos woud be good. Has anyoen tried training a wynaut yet?

Yeah, kingdra's do rule. Personally, i'd like to start with a Pichu.

Finding a female Pikachu: $20
Trading for a male Delibird: $27.99
Finding a female Mareep: $15.34
Breeding Delibird with Mareep: $0.99
Hatching the egg: $1.49
Breeding the male baby Mareep with the Pikachu: $0.99
Hatching the egg: $1.49
Using a level 5 Pichu that knows Thunder, Thunderbolt, Present, and Mega Punch: Priceless

What resources do you have? Meaning do you have the option of breeding pokemon from a different game and trading the eggs to the new game? In FR/LG you can't get eggs before you get the national dex. Are you asking for pokemon that can be captured at lower levels early in the game?

For bug pokemon I would say Parasect is good with Spore, and Venemoth has a rediculous move pool. Ninetails or Magmar are great fire types in my opinion. I prefer Linoone because of the practicality of pickup, but Exploud is stronger. Golduck, Lapras, and Poliwrath are awsome water types.

Ugh. That is enough for me.
