How do we register friends? I believe if this is right, you go to your Pal Pad, put in your friend's name, and then put in their code numbers? HOw could you kind of make contact with the ones you register if you live say in the West Coast and they lived in say Japan? THat's the part I'm kind of lost on.

On the GTC, do I put out a Pokemon from my team as trade offer, and then seek the Pokemon I want? How do I know which is a good deal or a bad deal since I see so many of this going around the NFL on draft day? I don't want people to get upset that I'm offering a bad Pokemon in their opinion.

Yea, that's right.

In game, you can contact them if they are using the WiFi. If they aren't connected, then you'll need to contact them some other way (Internet, e-mail, phone, whatever).

Well, depends on the trade. If you're offering Starly for Mew, yea, I don't think anyone would trade that. Basically, just trade what you're willing to part with for that particular Pokemon. You never know until you try.

Um, when you do something on Wifi, do they automatically use your first Wifi connection that you set up? Because there're three connections that you can set up.

I just put up a Quagsire level 21 and requested a level 9 Glameow. If I put up the trade last night, should I check the GTC every 24 hours or so and see if anybody worldwide took the trade? HOw would I then know my trade was accepted, would the Glameow be standing there?

Oh, the 3 connections, that I believe is only for an establishment you are at, like McDonalds from waht I heard. I tried it and it never found an access source from my house because I didn't press the set up YOUR USB connection.

Yes.

You use the one you've selected when you enter the Nintendo WFC options from the main game menu.

I have two connections, one for home, one for work... but I still can't find out the access point name for the work connection :(

My Wifi Is acting up!! I see that 3 bar thing and all three are lit up green, I can go to the GTS but everytime I do, When I seek a Poke'mon it comes up "GTS check failed!"

When I was trading online with another PE2K Member, It cut us both off, AND every poke'mon I put up for trade goes away and I don't get the poke'mon I wanted!!!! It gives me the option to deposit another pokemon AND Something just came up on my Computer saying...I'ts gone now... PM me to help Please!!!!

ow do you find a WEP key on a Mac? I could probably get connected and figure out the rest myself, my i cannot find the WEP key anywhere in the Mac, its well hidden... any suggestions? I cannot turn the airport on without it, and I cannot make up my own and it is NOT on my wireless router thing.

The Nintendo help page says that my Wireless router isn't compatible with WiFi.
Does that mean that the only two options open to me are to get a new router, or to get one of them WiFi USB Connecter things?

yeah i'm having trouble with connect my wifi too. i got my ds connected to the usb connector but everytime i pick connection 1 and search for an access point it says,"no access point in range," and if i go to AOSS it can't detect anything. do i gotta change anything to make it work? it's really getting annoying.
