"This isn't a valid image" Huh?

When I try to make my own Avatar, and I hit browse on edit avatar, then hit save
settings, it'll say "This is not a valid image"

Yes, I checked, and it's 97x99 pixels. That's not over the limit.

What else could be wrong with it? Please, any help will be appreciated.

It has to be less than 40 KB. Right click on the picture in your pc, and go to properties. The size is in there, if it's more than 40, then you can't use it.

It's less than 40 KB, and less than 100x100

Is there anything else you can think of?

Well I made it on paint, and the type is "Bitmap Image"

Does that affect anything?

Try to save it as .PNG or .JPG and see if that works. Preferably .PNG.

Yeah, bitmaps don't work, so using PNG or JPEG is the better idea.
