as ive been noticing and im sure most of you have is that most of our guests and new trainers (if youre a new trainer this dosent perticualy you) but theres always a large amount of people just coming on this site to constontrate onthe te diamond and pearl parts and yes its the newest games but i mean why?? just why do they concentrate on d/p

They might want to ask some questions on D/P, it's not like we can force them to post in the other sections. It's up to them really.
Still, it's mostly because D/P were released this year, and people want help, the D/P boards will die down later this year. Possibly in 2008.

Well this is a pokemon forum. There's no rule saying that they can't come here and enjoy Wifi or get some help. Hey, as long as they're following the forum rules noone will dog 'em. And they actually do now-except occasionally some just come without looking at the rules. But I enjoy playing Wifi with them. ^^

And is there anything wrong with Pe2k becoming more popular? I mean, this is a pretty awesome place don't you think? Sharing it with everyone is our Ec, nay, our responsibility. ^^

I understand. But there have been a million threads about this. How about we just ignore them if you don't like them THAT much. It's not that bad, dude. Just stay away from DP and you've got nothing to worry about.

it seems like every thread here turns into a discussion about how annoying noobs are. well either way just stay away from D/P or deal with it. it's not that bad, and they are members just like everyone else so they should be treated the same way as everyone else.

Yes, we've all been well aware of the new people joining just for the D/P section. While most of the time it brings about a lot of SPAM and arguments and flaming, the Mods (especially rust) are trying our best to keep things under control. But with all the members joining, it's kind of hard for us to keep up .

Anyways, there's nothing really to do about it but ride it out. When the D/P craze dies away, less people will be joining just for the D/P forums. Until then, just hang tight.
