You may have thought you were the only ones out there, the only one like you in your world. Well, you were right about one thing, you are the only one in your world, but not the universe.

Story
Space. The vast void that seems endless and that contains mysteries far beyond comprehension. There are more planets now known by the human race than before. The year is 276 N.E. or New Era. The era of highly advanced technology and science that would mystify the minds of people from the 21st century. New systems have been discovered. Only the humans from the Planet Earth have such a high rank of technology and space travel besides those from other systems. There are more planets in other systems, so why aren't they up to speed with the rest of the universe?

There is a treaty that states other planetary bodies are to develope at their own pace without the assistance of and other technology that would be far beyond their level at their current time. also, no one outside the system my interfere with conflicts, problems or technological advances, or disrupt the planet in anyway. They must not show signs of higher technology for any reason. Currently, there are four dominate races for technological advance: the Human race, the Klausian race, the Abdian race and the Teltion race, surrently leading in military technology and weaponry, and the Human and Klausian race at a similar level, higher in some areas than the other, but where the Abdian race stand is curently unknown.

There has been a calm, but not really a peace between each race, with the exception of the Humans and Klausians. The Teltion's and the Abdians have been at each other throats for the past decade though, and it is rumored to be on the edge of planetary war. That rumor was more true that realized. No one knew until the Teltion's launched a sneak attack against the Abdian's on their science base and totally obliterated it. This shocked whoever knew, and it turns out more planets were next. The Teltion's went and fought and crushed any defense from defending planets, which half the time, proved to be a bit of a challenge for the hostile race. It turns out they were looking for a certain something that the Abdians had kept hidden from all public eyes.

They had been doing forbidden scientific studies on a meteor that was found on their home planet. So how could studies on a space rock be forbidden science? Well, with the stone, thats not all they were doing. They used Symbology on it, to get reactions out of it, but those who did use it turned out to have high levels of Symbologic power that was highly unstable, and those were either terminated, or they perished and were disposed of. when the labratory was destroyed, so was the meteorite, but not completely. It shattered and flew off into other systems. Parts fell onto Earth, Hyda, a planet mostly known for its resorts and mild weather, Cronite, a planet where the Eleni race originated, Berus, the planet where a mix of races live from Beastfolk to even humans and finally, the Klausian system, but of which planet isn't unknown. Of those who found the fragments of the meteorite, who dared to touch it, became erratic, and obtained the power of Symbology, but then became under an unstable behaviour like the scientists, or whatever power they had became dormant after becoming unconcious for several days, most of them children.

Soon, the Teltions found those who had touched the meteor and captured them, regardless of the Planetary treaty mentioned above. After going through each system, and eventually found each one, calling them the Chosen Children. What happens now is anyones game.

So what will you do?

Roles:
Chosen Children: Those who are captured aboard the Teltion ship, awaiting their future, wondering what will happen to them as their locked in cells. Escape is their first priority, but can each race co-operate and be trusted for escape?

The Teltion's: Are you really out there to obtain as much power as possible to rule each system with an iron fist, or is there something else? Something much larger behind your alien eyes that you aren't telling about.

Everyone else: What are you going to do? Were you just caught up in a conflict with the Teltions at the time, are you currently defending your planet, or are you part of an orginization against the Teltion raids?

Races/Planets
Races:
Human: A bipedal race originaly evolved from monkeys. They have high intellegence and are capable of a variety of abilities and adapting to many situations and areas. This race can use Symbology, but it takes a very long time to learn it in their case. They do not posess any further strength such as strength or agility, but each on is extremely unique. They are from the Sol System.

Klausian: Their a similar biological structure to the human race, only that they obtain far more stamina and strength that any average human. Being in ties with technological level with the humans, most of them don't mind each other. Most are helpful and loyal people who aren't afraid of danger and never leave a friend in need. They originate from the Klaus System.

Beastfolk: A mild virus allowed the genes of both beast and human to co-exsist in one body, therefore a rude but commonly used term is 'halfling' or 'halfbreed'. Their skills all depend on their beast gene and so does their appearance, but common parts are tails, ears, fangs and possibly claws. Depending on the beast gene also depends on what abilities they may have. But all beastfolk are are mamalian. System of origin is unknown, but they live in almost all systems.

Saphain: With a slightly different bone structure from the biology of a human, these are like beastfolk, but are what humans would say, part bird. They do resemble what human lore illustrates as 'angels' but some do have feathers and wing-like arms, allowing them to fly for a short period of time. They are said to always be calm and very wise and age ten times longer than the human race. They are pacifists mostly, but some are said to use Symbology for defensive purposes and healing. They live on all planets.

Eleni: This race has an ever changing DNA and bio-structure, beacuse with a thought, they can change their pyshical shape. Some have a set form for which they spend most of their time in, and already have a high use of Symbology, although some might call it another name. Each Eleni always has at least one type of cell that remains constant, meaning that when the 'shapeshift' it is always in relation to everything else they can change into. This prevents a collapse in their normal respritory and circulatory system. They posess their own language aside from those known to humans. System of origin, or planet is unknown as these are an extremely rare kind of race. They are similar to Earths gypsies.

Teltion: An alien race with a totally bald head and small eyes between the sides and the front. Their skin in smooth and very dry to a human's hand and is literally colored black. This race, is usually very dictator like and follows a military hierarchy. Most things seemed to be based around anything involving the army, navy or airforces on their planet, and most if not all wear military like fashion with not much built for comfort. Those that are in the actual military, as that is where most Teltion children are headed to anyway in their future, wear long coats that do up the front.

Abdian: These follow the lines of a similar line of Beastfolk and Saphain people, only that they are strictly of amphibian or fish gene. Some to most have gills, so they either spend all of their life in the underwater cities, or wear a breathing ring around their neck filled with oxygen rich water. Most of their bodies are covered in a suit similar to a humans diving suit, but a variety of clothing is worn over top, all of it being completely waterproof of course. This race can't be without water for more than half a day. Since their base was destroyed by the Teltions however, they have become a scarce race like the Eleni.

Planets:
Earth: The home planet for the Human race, and where the highest variety of different races. Technological advances are created here, but tested on its moon, now called Luna. This planet is based in the Sol System

Hyda: A resort planet, known for its mild weather, sunny beaches and popular vacation spots. Many races with technology capable of space travel, or know of it often visit this place to get away from turmoil and strife. If you haven't been here without good reason, they you must've been under a rock for a long while.

Berus: The homeplanet of the Beastfolk with a technology level of 21st century Earth. A great many other races are here as some might say, but tey're still really beastfolk, just with more beast gene than human. also, faries and unhostile elementals make their home here. They have poor space travel vehicles, but know about other worlds.

Telas: The homeplanet for the Teltions. Its a metal metropolis with very little forest or signs of vegitation other than the hybrid crops and plants grown in greenhouses and experimental labratories. They are at the peak of military weaponry, making them difficult to overcome in the war.

Cronite: This is really a small moon that hold little life. The technological level is that of 17th century Earth, and they have no knowledge of other planets with life, until the Teltions came and kidnapped some of their kind to experiment with and for the one that found the meterorite fragments and touched it. These were the first to be captured because of their low level in technology.

Abdian Station 2: The only home of the Abdians that was mainly used as a restoration facility for their people and a science labratory. It was destroyed by the Teltions in their attempt to steal the meteorite from them, but ended up terminating the station instead.

Anyte II: A newly discovered planet on it with very little information on it. The beliefs are that the technology level is around 17th century Earth, but there is nothing to confirm this, as some say there is technology from 22nd century Earth there as well. A mix of races has been concluded to live there, and it is rumored an OPA is hidden somewhere on the planet. It consists of three major land masses or countries and two archipelago's: Latsio, Trene, Harou, and the Tidestone Isle, and the Stormspire Islands.

Terms to Know:
PT1: The 'Planetry Treaty' that enlists that no one of higher technological advancment can assist an under developed planet in any way, interfere with their history, or show signs of new planetary life until they have discovered in on their own. any violation will result in immediate arrest.

Symbology: A science that is based on symbols that all have a similar yet unique effect when used. Similar to 'magic' in a way, they are based on mythological elements from almost all of Earth's lore and legends. It has other names on different planets, such as Runeology. The uses can range from healing to total destructive capabilities.

OPA: 'Out of Place Artifact'. An item of extreme power that is often not of the planets technology level and is infinitely higher than it. What it does is differs from each one, but all are rare and many people try to obtain its power. On Underdeveloped planets, its often reffered to as an ancient relic, or a holy object.

Generation/Cyber Cells: Imprisonment cells used for containing hostages or prisoners like Earth old jails. It is almost inpossible to break out of one, leaving whoever inside helples to their captor.

Mental Energy: The energy required to use any form of Symbology. Its level varies from species, but if all of this is used up, the person becomes unconcious and will not awaken from anywhere to a few moments to days, depending on what they did to end up as they did.

Carry-On Ships: These are used for evacuation or the ferrying of people and other races from planet to planet. There is a difference between Evacuation and Ferying ships. Evacuation ships have much more armor, some weapons and more powerful engines and aren't really designed for comfort, where as contrast to the Ferry ships where they are built to keep passengers comfy, but have a cloaking system to a lesser level than the Evacuation ships.

Underdeveloped Planet: A planet with a low level of technology, or one that hasn't quite reached the technology to travel through the vastness of space. Anything under the level of 20th century Earth.

Medical Containment: A special container, much like a pod that povides advanced medical attention by healing any damage or mild illness for who ever may be inside it. There are specific type for a higher level of healing certain ailments.

Symbology: Basic 'spells'
There are basic spells for Symbology, each based on the elements of Fire, Water, Ice, Lightning, Stone, Earth, Toxin and Wind. I'm only going to put the basic spells to choose from, and I'll add stronger ones later. Symbology also involves healing, causing various 'status' effects on enemies.

Fire Bolt: Firing out two fire balls, they fly around and eventually croos and hit the target. Ranged attack.

Lightning Bolt: Fires out a direct charge of electrical energy at the target. Slim chance of paralysis. Ranged attack.

Earth Storm: After hitting the ground, earth pillars shoot out from the ground and strike the target. Short ranged.

Stone Breath: Releases a breath of dust and small stones. High chance of temporary petrification. Ranged attack.

Poison Cloud: Creates a cloud of toxic gas with poison bombs. No damage, but poisons anyone who enters the could, unless they're mwearing appropriate gear.

Whirlwind: Surrounds the user in a small tornado of wind that is both defensive and offensive. Only causes damage when in close combat, it eventually wears off.

Aqua Shield: Creates a barrier of water to protect anyone behind it. Lightning based attacks are immune to it though and can pass right through.

Other Symbology:
Healing: Heals only one target and only their stamina.

Antidote: Cures Poisoning. Pretty self explanitory.

Telepathic Impulse: Heals a persons Mental Energy, which is used to use Symbology, also for confusing hostile targets.

Phoenix Glare: Cures petrification, may also cause mental confusion.

Barrier: Creates a barrier surrounding wither the user or the target of choice. The affected can stil move about.

Power Focus: Increases the focus of the target or user and increases their physical and mental strength for a short period of time.

Aura Shields: Chosen Children Only
These are one ot the Symbologies that the 'Chosen Children obtained after touching the meteorite. You many only choose one type, some may be limited for a certain race. This is one of your immediately usable powers.

Stun Aura: When you have full focus, or haven't used any attacks for a while or at the beginning of a fight, when the attacker hits, you recieve no damage, and the attacker is momentarily stunned and immoblized. Beastfolk cannot have a Stun Aura.

Homing Aura: Similar to Stuan Aura, but instead of stunning, a knockback force is created that also damages the attacker. Eleni cannot have a Homing Aura.

Berserk: This goes on for the entire battle, regardless of if you've attack or not, your damage dealt with physical attacks are significantly increase, but your defensive abilities is lowered considerably. You also become faster and a bit erratic. Saphian cannot have a Berserk Aura.

Meditation: This goes on for the entire battle, and any Symbology used is increased, whether damaging or not. Your physical attack remain at a lower level, but at a constant rate, regardless of the targets defense. Klausian and Humans cannot have a Meditation Aura.

Rules/Regulations
Rules:
1: No godmodding, spamming, flamming bunnying without permission or plot changes. The usual PE2K RP rules.
2: This is a leterrate RP, therefore your post must all be at least a paragraph long.
3: Mild romance and very mild swearing, nothing not found in a PG 13 movie people. Let be civillized.
4: I'm expecting well done SU's here. If you don't give me a good SU within a number of tries, I'll pull you from my RP. Not to be mean, just because I think you need to improve your abilities first.
5: If you aren't active on a regular basis, I would highly advise you to not join this RP. If you fall behind, its up to you to get updated.
6: Use the proper sign Up sheet according to what character you're using.

Regulations:
Literative Role Players. All proper grammar, spelling, none of this internet chat stuuf like '2', 'u' and other such things.
Chosen Childer get to choose one of each type of Symbology. Anyone else can choose two of one, one of another, or choose a second level Symbology spell and one other Symbology.
Use courtosey towards other fellow Role Players. Any question not regarding SU sheets is to be put in the discussion thread when it is made.
All reservations last for 96 hours, or four days. Extensions may be sorted out if there is something that is coming up.
This has a bit of realism in it. Players cannot instantly travel anywhere, with the exception of space warping.
'Chosen Children' players have one custom power that will be unlocked later in the RP when the situation demands it. You cannot all learn your power at once.

FAQ
Q:When will we start?
A:We will start when I think we have enough people, and have enough 'Chosen Children' players. That is when we will start.

Q:Where is everyone going to start?
A: They will be the following:

Chosen Children will start off in the Teltion hold in a Cyber Cell. Each race stays in one cell, meaning all the Humans in one, Eleni in another and so on.

Anyone playing a Teltion will be on the Teltion battle ship doing their regular patrol duties and what your job is. These will be given out according to how well your SU was done.

Anyone else, more specifically those that are in a small rebel group against the Teltions will be searching for the Teltion battle ship, the Blockade and trying to rescue the 'Chosen Children'. The rebellions ship is known as the Spire. Anyone else who happened to get caught up in the mess i s either in the Teltion hold, on the rebel ship, or somewhere else in the universe.


Anything else will be added if I think its nesecary. I hope I don't have to add rules though.

Saphian SU Sheet
Name: Elizabeth ( or Liz)
Age: She's 13 human years so she would be one Saphian year and 3 months
Gender: Female
Avian Gene: Bald Eagle
Strengths/Weaknesses: Like flying type pokemon, Liz isn't too fond of electricity. She gains the upper edge though if it is windy or lightly stormy outside and she becomes faster and harder to catch.
Personality: Liz is a very calm kid, she would be a teenager in humans years so you would suspect that she likes to be alone all the time right? Wrong. She is very social, with certain people that is. She only talks to her closest friends. She is actually more comfortable talking with adults because unlike "kids" they take her seriously. She can however, be aggresive and develope an "in your face" attitude if the time calls. She is very protective of the people she knows and will try to defend them any way possible.
Appearance: Will have soon.
History: Liz was walking back from visiting another village when a weird object dropped from the sky. Being a "kid" she was naturally curious, then again being part bird, meant she was always curious so she decided to investigate. It fell by the lake of the village she was visiting, and when she went over to touch it, it emitted a strange sound, then everything went light(ya, light instead of dark.) Then two days later she was captured by the Teltions.
Weapon: None
Symbology:
*Aura type: Meditation
* Symbologic power: Whirlwind
*What Triggers it?: Her desire to help and protect those in need.

Okay, I'll reserve you Palkia, but just to let you nkow ahead of time, I'm looking for alot of detail in peoples SU's, so you'll have to put more quantity in it. Its not to be mean, just to prove people are as literate as I'd like them to be.
