Betting

We should be allowed to bet before a match starts. The ref will ask if you desire to bet anything you can bet it. But if you want to bet you have to bet a item or money (no pokemon!) but it has to be fair. Like 1 person can't bet 100 pokedollars while the other person bet's 1000 pokedollars. It has to be resonable betting.

What does everone else think?

I definatly don't agree on this. We have battling wages, and those are good enough ^^

You don't have to bet but you are allowed to if you wish to and if it's a fair deal.

nope, two rich battlers each bet for let us say 6000$ and the winner gets such an amount in one battle is overpowered. I still do not agree, we have 1000 for winning and 500 for losing and this is fair enough, for all sides.

If you did 6vs6 trainer's battle do you still get 1k for winning and 500 for loseing?

Sure thing, because technically, a hard 2v2 is as hard as 6v6 but longer, which means more work for ref not for trainer in such a case, so ref gets more and battlers get same ^^

If we were able to bet, there would be a lot of cheating. One person with a lot of money (like Nin). Could bet like $100,000 and lose on purpose so that the other person could have a lot of money.

Also King Zark reffering to you signature, the URPG does not belong to Pe2k. So it's not the Pe2k URPG, it's just the URPG.

I once thought it was a good ideai but after it was rejected for something I can see that it could cause problems...so no :p

If we were allowed to bet on battles, there would have to be a set limit that you can bet up to, to prevet cheating. (IE. A couple of hundered/thousand) It could make for an interesting system, and may be an alternative way to tournaments to boost activity. (Much like my Risk idea)
