Team Help in Emerald
I need help completing my team for emerald, and I like to have my team planned out before I get too far into the game and this is what I have come up with so far as the Final Lineup
Blaziken
Ludicolo
Swellow
Mightyena
Then I get stuck here, for me I was thinking for the 5th spot,
Sharpedo/Crawdaunt/Gyarados
and the 6th
Cacturne/Shiftry/Absol
any help is welcomed, and if you see a different pokemon that would work better please say so. Also if stats and natures would help I can get them if you want. Thanks
~Kaim

Re: Team Help in Emerald
I'm not great with natures and EVs so sorry, I'll only give movesets.
Blaziken
Blaze Kick
Brick Break
Bulk Up
Mirror Move (just for fun)
Ludicolo
Rain Dance
Surf
Ice Beam
Synthesis
Swellow
Facade
Double Team
Aerial Ace
Steel Wing
Mightyena
Crunch
Shadow Ball
Return
Swagger
Sharpedo
Crunch
Agility
Earthquake
Hyper Beam (not a great move, but I think it would be ok for an in-game team)
Roselia
Magical Leaf
Toxic
Sludge Bomb
Aromatherapy

Re: Team Help in Emerald
Hmm, this is tough.
5th spot is REALLY hard to come up with because you have them all as water types.
You have a water type in your team already so i would suggest a Manetric or, if you can obtain one, Jirachi.
Manetric Moveset:
Thunder
Crunch
Body Slam
Swagger
Jirachi Moveset:
Doom Desire
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Aerial Ace
And, as for the 6th Pokemon a wise choice would be Absol
Moveset Unknown.

well I only have another water type in there because that way I can teach Dive/Waterfall to one and Surf to another without having to not take one of my mains into the underwater cavern and crap. its more about making things easier. Also wouldnt Gyarados help with Fighting resistance since I may need that on my team? o_0
ps. Roselia isnt in Emerald I would need to trade it and at the moment I do not have the means to do that.
psps. Wouldnt Rain Dance/Synthesis be contradicting to each other since he would gain less HP cause of Rain Dance?

Re: Team Help in Emerald
You should only use five Pokemon in your Team. That way the EXP gets distributed across your team faster. Your fifth spot should be manectric, as previously stated. And you can always fill up the sixth spot with a Pokemon your training or an HM Slave. Try teaching Gyarados Any four of these moves: Dive, Surf, Watterfall, Strength, Rock Smash
