Severe weather is actually kind of exciting, except when it starts doing real damage.
If you're anywhere near me, then you'd know that we're supposed to be getting part of that system tomorrow.

I actually had a friend sign off just now because of bad weather ._.;

I get excited with severe storms, I wouldn't mind being a meteorologist, though.

I know thunderstorms don't sound too "severe," but once there was one where it rained for 3 straight days, the power went out in the neighborhood and school for an entire day, and we had two days off of school because some of the ceiling got ripped off. :D

There's only about 1 thunderstorm a year where I live, even though it's really humid in the summer. I love thunderstorms and such, which is why I want to become a meteorologist or a volcanologist when I'm older.

Last year, there was a bad thunderstorm, and there was a powercut and because of the storm, it was quite dark at 4:00pm.

Last year also, there was this other time in spring when I was in Year 7, when at about 3:00pm, the sky went as dark as the night sky, and street lamps turned on. Me and my friend were walking home and very strong winds kept blowing us across the pavement, rain was spitting in our faces, it actually stung. I think it was a tornado, most probably an F1 - F2 at the most. I still thought it was awsome though just a tad frightening.

The worst storm I've ever been in was a category 2 hurricane, causing tornado warnings, power outages, flash floods, and massive thunderstorms. That was about three years ago and I've evacuated for every hurricane after that. x_x

I had to walk through 80mph winds when I was younger.

I was over at a friend's house, and he lives next to a fork in the river, so in between the two, and it floods every year annually. That year, it came a little early. About two weeks early. It was a bad year, and the trailer we would sleep in out in his backyard, almost got flooded, the house had about 6 inches of water and mud in it, and my friend and I went kayaking. Out in the street.

Oof... That is a very difficult question.

I tend to purposely get in the way of severe storms, as they fascinate me beyond belief. Mostly photographing them, and the dynamics that go into them. Really, I can't answer that, because many could top my list. Maybe the one where I got my first tornado picture.

That was a fun storm to sit outside for. I was in Galveston when it hit. It wasn't all that bad as the channels made it seem. XD

But back on topic: when I was 6 and living about 5 minutes away from where I live now, there was a storm that hit that lasted maybe 2 days. I was scared. XD
