This first paragraph doesn't have the plot yet, but it'll come.
So, I hope this is good.
“… And that class, is why the Pythagorean Theory works,” explained Mr. Hunt. His chalk squeaked loudly on the dulled, green chalkboard. “Now then,” Mr. Hunt was saying, “We have a test starting tomorrow at eight-fifth-teen sharp.”
The whole class groaned in unison right before the ear-splitting bell rang. Most kids got up and left, but a few just woke up and looked around. “Bring Pencils!” Mr. Hunt shouted after them.
“Man, a test!?! I never take notes in class! C’mon guys, gimme your notes! I need ‘em!” Jack was starting to shout. A few kids stared, as others rolled their eyes.
“Sorry, bro. I need mine,” said Jed. His binder was overflowing with all sorts of papers and whatnot. “I don’t even know how you’ll find it,” exclaimed Ryan. “Once something goes in there, it never comes out. Oh, see you guys later!” Ryan turned into his next class, which left Jack and Jed.
“Ugh, I’ll just go online, I guess,” Jack glumly said. His binder fell open, revealing tons and tons of school work and paper. “Man! This sucks! I’ll just get a vacuum cleaner” he sarcastically explained.
They turned to their next class, History.
