Default EV training help

Ok so I'm new to ev training and I thought I would try it on some old games first but I don't understand some things

How many of a certain pokemon do I need to kill

How many zincs carbos proteins etc do I need to use

Plz help me

It's much easier to EV train in pokemon Diamond/Pearl, seeing as that's where everyone trains. 1 Vitamin gives 10 EV's in the stat. You can only give 10 to a pokemon, which gives it 100 EV's in a stat, so you only need to train 155 EV's instead of 255. Just look around pe2k for some EV training advice in the forum: Pokemon Diamond/Pearl: Guides.
There are EV training guides in there stickied.
