You told the Strung-Up Quartet to play a song for you in the Haunted Ballroom. You can turn it off by adventuring there until you find them again.

Re: The Mutual Autonomy [Raid success]
Yo Poring, has anything actually changed in the Crimbo side of things? Or is it still the usual (beat/bribe/mutate)?

Re: The Mutual Autonomy [Raid success]
It's still the usual. A new penguin and two new elves have been added, though, if you haven't seen those yet. They each have rare drops and common consumable drops. The hitpenguin drops a depleted Grimacite kneecapping stick (+X Crit%, depending on the moons). The whistle-carving elf drops an elven whittling knife ("Whittles Enemy Down" on a Critical Hit; no idea what that does). The circuit-soldering elf drops a pair of miniature antlers (+X Familiar Weight, depending on the moons).
But yeah, no new plot developments. There's a tiny plastic Mob Penguin in the advent calendar, which you probably got already.
Edit: By the way, are you planning on doing a Hobopolis run? I see you added some meat to the coffer and flooded the basement.

Re: The Mutual Autonomy [Raid success]
Seems like my mask tends to force a consumable drop here myself. The prices off the mall of those items aren't too expensive either, but I'd expect it to keep dropping for a while. :3

Re: The Mutual Autonomy [Raid success]
I never seem to get the pickpocket critical from my mask nor the free adventure one.
What do you think of the Sugar Fruit Fairy? Since the PBS was pretty useful in HC and I missed it, I was thinking of buying one. Not sure how to manage the MP loss, though...
Also, you probably didn't see this because I edited the message at about the same time you posted, but are you planning on doing a Hobopolis run?

Re: The Mutual Autonomy [Raid success]
Never used it before, but it reminds me of the bugbear shaman, which was incredibly useful until stasis died.
Well I flooded it before there was nothing there to begin with. If you want to go Hobopolis, you can. :3

Re: The Mutual Autonomy [Raid success]
I'm thinking it would be more useful for me once I get more skills permed. It would go nice with my Dandy Lion. Although, it would probably go better with a GGG.
You don't have to fund the basement runs for me. I should probably be paying for them since you paid the initial 10 million. Besides, I can afford it, since I farmed a couple million before all the Crimbo events.
New psycho shirt looks nice, but I haven't permed Awaregness yet.

I was thinking about perhaps going into hobopolis some time soon myself anyways, so it really doesn't matter who does what. lol

Re: The Mutual Autonomy [Raid success]
S'all good then.
Finally got my psycho sweater to drop! I spent two lucre on extractors, and got it within the first 10 turns of my first extractor. I'll probably regret spending the lucre once I have 198, though. <_<

Re: The Mutual Autonomy [Raid success]
Yeah, I stopped after getting two sweaters. Sold one, kept the other. On the Trail is still extremely good, especially since it only costs me 40mp. :3

Re: The Mutual Autonomy [Raid success]
I'm not spending anymore lucre on extractors. <_< I did manage to get 3 more psycho sweaters to drop in the past few days just by spending all my adventures in the Crimbo Factory with a 40 lb. Dandy Lion.
When do you want to do a Hobopolis dive? I was thinking sometime in early January.

Re: The Mutual Autonomy [Raid success]
Are those 'starter' combat skills even permanentable?
I just ascended but Clobber was not listed.
Any idea if they will be permable? Or if some will?

Re: The Mutual Autonomy [Raid success]
No, they're not meant to be permable. I think Jick mentioned this on a radio show.
Very unlucky on the Hobopolis drops... Almost done, though.

It happens man. I think my main account wants that frosty's arm, though. >.>
I just keep farming, nonetheless.

Re: The Mutual Autonomy [Raid success]
The new IotM looks good. I already have divine favors, but I will probably get it anyway because the love songs seem much better.
Well, I finally ascended. HCNP Accordion Thief. Made it to level 5. Pretty good.
