Re: shedinja
Shedinja@Focus Sash
Jolly
252/252Spd (The final EV obviously doesn't matter :P)
Swords Dance
X Scissor
Shadow Sneak/Sucker Punch
Will-O-Wisp/Toxic/Ariel Ace
Standard Shedinja. Focus sash gives you an extra "life" should your friend take flamethrower, fire blast etc on a poke to counter grass types. Shedinja's only decent stat is his attack is attack, so maximize your use of it with swords dance and STAB X Scissor. To compensate for lack of speed, shedinja has two priority options. Sucker Punch is stronger than Shadow Sneak even with STAB factored in. However it's less viable on shedinja than any other poke, since there are a lot less attacks that can actually harm it. Your opponent will instead try to status you, since wonderguard offers no defence against it. This makes shadow sneak a more reliable option. The status options on the last slot are intended to act as parting gifts if you know you're screwed (aka he gets stealth rock set up), while ariel ace hits heracross (Who resists the first two moves and loves the guts boost from status) for super effective damage.

Re: shedinja
I don't generally like a lot this Pokémon, he is done out of Stealth Rock or Sandstorm/Hail, without a team '' built around him '' it will never turn to the best.

Two little things:
1. Go for Adamant, the Speed won't make much difference anyway.
2. Lum Berry as another option, acts like a Focus Sash for Poison, Burn and Confusion.

Jolly is a perfectly viable nature and allows shedinja to outrun the following threats:
*Adamant, max speed Golem with stone edge
*Adamant, max speed Cradily with rock slide
*Adamant, max speed Rhyperior with stone edge
*Adamant, max speed Marowak with stone edge/fire punch
*Adamant, max speed Armaldo with stone edge
*Mild, max speed Camerupt with fire blast
Those are pokes who run high speed on low stats as standard, all of which would either tie or beat shedinja if it weren't for jolly.

I see what you mean, but I still think that Adamant is completely superior.
First off, Shedinja can't do much to these Pokemon anyway, and if it can, Shadow Sneak will be the way to go, outspeeding them would let you hit with status, but that's really it.
Secondly, Adamant boosts it's power overall, against most other things, that will matter more. 90 Base Attack isn't much, I'd give it all the boosts it can get.

A Will-o-Wisp will surely cripple most of the Pokemon listed though (bar Camerupt), so it is a perfectly viable option.
Anyway, the guy did say that his friend is using all-waters with all of Water + one Ice Beam for coverage, so Adamant would be the better choice since Shedinja is probably not going to get hurt.

Yeah, but me and Gofre like to have little pointless arguments...
