I just assumed it was 'Deedee', a pet name gotten by taking the first letter of Dawn's name and repeating it twice. Somehow I doubt that a bunch of little kids would call her "Dumb Dawn" or make fun of her breasts...

Whenever someone says "DeeDee" it gets her annoyed, so probaly they say it to annoy her... probaly

It has to be DKs explanation. It's the only thing I believe here.

I thought it woud be Dawn Dawn.

That would be too weird and why would they just repeat her name?

I don't know I thought it just matched the letters DD so I thought it would be that.

............Whatever.

Yeah, I think I read somewhere that DD stands for Deedee.

This thread somehow attracted many Dawn-haters... :O

i no the real reason you may think this is crazy but on one episode of pokemon dawn reveals her secret

It all started when she was in kindergarten dawn and 2 friends were picked to be the pokemon caretackers and well dawn was trying to hold plusle and minun so her friends can put food in there dish, so plusle and minun zapped dawn to get away and her hair sparkled. her friends just couldn't stop laughing and they made up the name diamond dandruff or dd for short.

so that is where the name dd came from i am not kidding

When Dawn and Kenny went to preschool, they were instructed to watch the class pets, Plusle and Minun. Dawn played too rough with them and they zaped her, making her hair frizz and sparkle. Kenny said it looked like she had diamond dandruff, thus 'DD' :P
