I doubt it. Honestly, I can see his last appearance being around the Sinnoh League, where Ash will inevitably defeat him, and prove that his training methods are superior, whereas Pauls will to be portrayed as generally immoral.

He may appear in the filler saga, but not in the next region.

He'll probably stick around for the rest for the Sinnoh saga and then leave. You may see a rare appearance from him in a future episode, but I don't think he'll stick around as a main rival or part to the storyline.

I think Paul will go the Gary route: appears once in a great while to let people know he's still there, but won't make any major appearances after D/P (if there is anything after D/P season. Personally I think D/P will be the end of Pokemon cartoon series.)

No it wont. Ash and co will go back to Johto to participate in the new battle frontier. They'll also probably kick Dawn out and get that girl from Heart Gold/Soul Silver. They might not though but I hope thay do.

i dont think D/P will be the end of the series because it is still making money and ****. but i agree that paul wont stick around after the D/P saga. we might see cameos of him, nothing else

Filler saga? The whole Pokemon anime is filler.

Like I said a long time ago, they are going to go to Johto because of the new remakes like they did with the Kanto remakes.

I hope the new girl won't be the girl in HG/SS. She just looks stupid. Don't they have to be hot? Like Misty/May/Dawn. =P

exactly... nobody's like Gary.

Though I hope to hear more of Drew/Solidad/Harley in the new Jotho saga, since apparently those three (and May) are roaming the land and winning contests. I'm not saying to make them staple characters, but an appearence once in a while as rivals to Dawn could be interesting. Not that she needs more rivals.

Could be, or not. He could try for the Johto league. Or go for some other league first.

Nope.

He's going to be scrapped for some other rival (hopefully as refreshingly cruel, or more so, than Paul was just for the sake of interesting characters) for a new season, and fade into the woodwork save for maybe one episode in a new, rebooted Pokémon Chronicles or maybe as a cameo. But he's not going to serve as rival past Sinnoh and its Frontier, probably.

I doubt that Paul would be in the next season. He might not even show up at least once. He's not Gary nor Richie. I said Richie because Richie was in the first and second season of Pokemon before. Gary always seems to show up.

I don't think so...nobody likes Paul on the show I think he will leave and never show his face again...maybe he will be a Pokemon ninja and go work at a dojo or somthing (I don't know why I said that random thought)
