Heart Gold & Soul Silver EU Release Date?

Hmm, I'm not 100% sure this should go here, so if it's n the wrong place, feel free to move it mods..

Onto the real topic, does anyone know of Heart Gold & Soul Silver EU Release Date? I ask this because I'm from England and if the wait for it from the American releease is stupidly long I'll just get it shipped over.

I do not think it's known yet but the amercian date is most important as americian date in which english versions come out and can be imported for all your pokemon needs.

niether date has been set to my knowlage but according to serebii Ithink it was spring.

Oh, okay. Thankyou for your help, Spring isn't that far away. Not to mention I'm replaying Platinum at the moment, so that should keep me occupied for a while.

I hate these release dates. It's really bad in the UK because we have to wait for the rest of Europes languages to get translated. As for a US release date of Spring that still sucks. It was funny though going into game recently to this gaming event. One of the shop assistants realised me and a bunch of other people were playing pokemon and a conversation like this ensued...

Shop person: I'm sure you all excited about the big pokemon mystery dungeon game I hear it'll be the biggest pokemon game of 2010!
Group: What? Arn't you missing something?
Shop person: No
Group: Maybe HG/SS?
Shop person: Whats that?
Group: The remakes of pokemon gold and silver...
Shop person: You must be confused, no such game exists!
I then point out my copy of soul silver and...
Shop Person: I'm sorry! That must be a fan made game! I hope your all excited about myster dungeon! Then they walked off...

How un-informed are these people?!

I full understand the difficulties of Japanese to English translation and why it would take a while, but why would America get games before UK?
Do we not speak the same language?

Technically we get a European version. Unfortunately we have to wait whilst it gets translated to French and Spanish ect... I am personnaly going to get a US version. It gets more AR codes and all the Wi-Fi events happen sooner.

GOOD NEWS PPL!!! I HAVE AN EXACT RELEASE DATE!! I actually gave out the release date in the HG/SS Announcement thread a while back, but I'll repeat it here.

I went to the mall last month with my mom and went to GameStop to find out of morbid curiousity if they were reserving yet for HG/SS and had a release date, and as luck would have it, they WERE reserving and they DID have the release date!!! The release date for HG/SS iiiiiiissssss.......

APRIL 1 2010!!!!!!

I kid you not, that IS THE OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE the cashier told me!! Unless Nintendo chenges it, that is the date the games come out, because they had of gotten that date from someone from them.

Well April is in Spring so I guess it's likely... April fools day jokes happen on April fools day, not before then.

Yes, I'm well aware that that's April Fool's Day....

But even so, why would an employee go and pull my leg like that? They'd get in trouble for that kind of thing I'd imagine. And Smoo is right, someone wouldn't try to give me that kind of date if it weren't true when it's nowhere near April. They had to have gotten it from someone form Nintendo. If it were February or March of next year already, then YES, I would be more skeptical, but not when it's only November. I'm going to stick by that date unless I find elsewhere form an official sorce that the date has been changed. I'll look around today even and see if I can find anything. IF Nintendo has a different release date, then I will post it here. Or maybe someone else will find it and post it, who knows.
