the GTS server has its faults. For instance like you said, you can SEEK pokemon in the server and at most you get this 411 from the GTS
1.Basic pokedex info. name,#
2.Gender.
3.OT.
4.Origin location.
5.Which pokemon they want for trade & gender type.
For some reason it should also include at what level THEY want your pokemon for which it currently does not show.

I've figured out the answer to my question. Its apparent that the GTS won't let me trade a pokemon if I have a pokemon of the same species still in my possession. The same thing happens for the "seek pokemon" option.

I would just like to know who created the pokemon games. I would like to discuss something with someone who makes the games. I have looked at many websites but for some reason the list of game creation staff members seems to be hard for me to find. Can anyone tell me where I can get in contact with the people who make the game?

Hey guys im new here just wanted to introduce myself and ask a question
I was on the gts today on pearl and received a scyther with a japanese name was just wondering if pokemon obtained through a gameshark etc are tradeable over the gts or does it filter them as im as a bit worried if said scyther might have a been a dupe and could possibly compromise my file as i have put quite a bit of effort into it and where there is world wide access in games there is always the possibility of cheats/hacks etc

Yeah, the Pokemon just won't show up in the Pokedex until you get the Nat. Dex.

1.) Does Cresselia require an event item?

2.) Is Red Gyarados REALLY on Pearl? Cuz some kid told me yes, and I don't believe him.

3.) Why is it that, in G/S/C/HG/SS, you had to trade Onix to get Steelix, but in D/P/Pt, you can catch Steelix?

4.) Anyone else think Lucas/Dawn is almost absent for most of the game?

No, it's just a roaming Pokemon. If you would like me to explain how to get her, just ask me and I'll tell you.

No, the Red Gyarados is only available in Gen II

In HG/SS, you can catch Steelix in Mt. Silver. But I'm guessing they didn't have Steelix catchable in G/SC because it was a new Pokemon. They wanted to encourage you to use the Metal Coat and have to trade with another trainer.

Yeah, thats because they didn't really have a big role in the game

Mine didn't ddo this. Do you have to beat the E4 or something?
