Well, I really see no point in it, but if you wanted to do it yourself (or if anyone else wanted to), sure why not. Personally, I just liked the layout of the World Cup. And I think it would be awesome if we started like a year long qualifying period for actually teams of people representing countries to play pokemon and trying to be the 32 to actually be in a Pokemon World Cup. That would be awesome.

By the way, you still need to post your FC when you get it. Just a friendly reminder.

Hi BlueMage I got your message and I do want to join the tournament BUT... I see the deadline is July 17th. On July 22 I'm going to be going on a 10 day trip to Alaska for my cousin's wedding.. so therefore I won't be available for the tournament at all most likely. Sorry to bring the bad news, and I'm pretty sure where I'm going to be at... there ain't going to be any strong wifi around

Anyways, hopefully (and most likely), there will be tournaments in the future. And I will be glad if you could be a part of them. :)

Hey i saw that Charizard EX has made a summersmackdown aswell i have joined his one purely because i saw his first but it would be really cool if you put the two tournaments together.

Well seeming how both nearly have the same participants as it is, there would really be no point in doing so. His is 16, double elimination and will most likely start sooner and end before the beginning of the Round of 16 (in this tournament). Meanwhile, mine is in a completely different style. Because they MOST LIKELY won't overlap, you can easily join both tournaments (and you should). :)

They are to different types of tournaments we could like combine them at Round 16 for your tournament, but they pretty much have the same people in them and its just easier to have 2 separate tourneys. But count me in on this one for sure.

I am just stating who I'm kind of rooting for. And in Sports, you truly never know what to expect. Look at England, they flopped. Everyone expected them to make it farther than they did, but with their performance they didn't even deserve to make it to 16.
