I've been around PE2K on and off since 2004.

For the last couple years I've been very involved in the Spore community. I never thought anything would take my imagination so strongly that I'd be more into that than pokemon, but never say never. However EA is the antithesis of Nintendo when it comes to testing, support and product control... The less said, the longer it is before I'm banned for Yam.

I think that what really got me back more than anything was the release of HG/SS, and the return to Johto. Although I played R/G/B/Y (and loved Y for having Pikachu follow me), it was really Johto where I go interested in the game. The addition of breeding and the extensions to training, and what they opened up for team building, got me so interested in the game.

With the original G/S/C, and the ability to transfer from R/B/Y, pokemon ceased to be mildly customizable and became much more exciting -- plus the game just had this huge vista...

So I'm back. I've played all along, but haven't been as dedicated. HG/SS just re-ignited pokemon for me, especially with being able to actually play against friends across the world for real. And yeah, I like my Wooper, Phil, following me around. Duhr.

For the few who remember me, still living in the giant camper so I can stay near the horses -- of which I still have many -- this is me and my shire x fresian mare Lady (I drew it for my boyfriend). Also have borzoi and whippets still, and still coding for a living, but mostly retired (very early LOL!).

Same here, I just enjoyed Johto way more than Kanto. :3 Well, Johto was the second region, right after Kanto. They probably have put alot of effort into Johto to make more people interested in Pokémon, than the first region did, in my opinion... They did a good job at it. xD
