Default [SU] Pokémon: Dark Science - Black Consernation

INTRODUCTION

Dark Science: Black Consternation is the sequel to the original Dark Science RP. However, you don’t need to have taken part in the first RP to take part in this. Everything significant that happened in the last RP is summarized in this one.

Meanwhile, you’re definitely free to use any characters from the first RP.

BLACK CONSTERNATION

It all started with Xexan, an organization funded by the Unova government. In the beginning, they were allowed to bend the rules of ethical scientific research, and in several cases, break them without repercussion. Barred from Unova regulations, they were allowed to practice unethical testing on Pokémon in order to obtain advanced scientific knowledge. One of their projects involved trying to find the cure of the Tempest Virus, originally created by a terrorist group called Desert Sun. The virus was a rapidly-spreading biological warfare weapon intended to only kill humans, covering them with massive tumors before turning them inside out, twisting their minds into that of deranged, feral beasts before death claimed them. But in the process of trying to find a cure, the virus was released in a laboratory accident, and in order to save the lives of their infected colleagues, Xexan’s scientists were forced to turn them into Pokémorphs and Chimeras, human creatures with Pokémon likenesses. The operation worked and saved the lives of the scientists, due to the fact the virus was meant to target humans, but leave Pokémon unaffected. After the event was reported, the Unova government left Xexan on its own to fend for themselves, not wanting to readmit the creatures these Xexan scientists had become back into society. Even those that hadn’t been affected were exiled under the suspicion that they also carried the virus, or weren’t fully human either.

As a result, Xexan’s scientists continued their unethical work, using abducted Pokémon trainers and their Pokémon as lab specimens to experiment on to advance themselves as a new species. One of Xexan’s members, Aur Morose, had separated from the rest of Xexan, and was contacted by Unova’s Department of Energy, Damien Vickers, under the alias of Mr. Shadow. Mr. Shadow pressured Aur for the Tempest Virus, giving him government grants and protection of Xexan in return. With Aur’s compliance, the Unova government was continuously being set back from trying to find Xexan and bring them to justice due to Mr. Shadow’s efforts.

Mr. Shadow’s plan was to use the Tempest Virus, making it appear to be a natural viral outbreak. In the meantime, Mr. Shadow had Salvatore Biotech create the cure for the virus, which he intended to use as leverage for all those attempting to survive the grizzly outbreak. As part of his plan, Mr. Shadow would be the hero for saving people with the cure, and would have the power to decide who lived and who didn’t. With it, Mr. Shadow expected to reign supreme and rise as the new authority figure of Unova.

However, he didn’t expect Aur to betray him. Aur had given him a reprogrammed version of the Tempest Virus, and when it was released in Icirrus City, the cure that Mr. Shadow obtained from Salvatore Biotech had failed to work. Mr. Shadow’s agents, as well as thousands of Unova citizens, were the first to be infected. It wasn’t long until Xexan had caught word that dreaded Tempest Virus had been released. Knowing their time was limited, they prepared to turn as many civilians into Pokémorphs as they could, not only to save lives to aid their cause, but to also strengthen their support, research, and protection. Many of those saved by Xexan swore to help protect it, regardless of Xexan’s continued unethical testing on Pokémon.

Struggling against time, Mr. Shadow managed to improvise a solution to survive against the Tempest Virus. Unlike the method of turning people into half human, half Pokémon creatures used by Xexan, Mr. Shadow’s operation involved using cybernetic implants to turn humans into cyborgs, fitted with permanent visors and gas masks on their faces to protect against the Tempest Virus. Meanwhile, to combat with Xexan’s research, Mr. Shadow allowed those who had undergone the operation to be enhanced with new, cybernetic capabilities. Unlike Xexan’s Pokémorphs and Chimeras, Mr. Shadow’s cyborgs were incapable of pain, could easily survive limb amputation and have limbs reattached, and were made to be lethal weapons, able to turn appendages into concealed firearms and stabbing weapons.

Mr. Shadow called this new band of survivors "Siphon," targeting the rich, the powerful, and the strong, attracting wealthy syndicate leaders, military personnel, and authority figures. Now, Mr. Shadow operates in secret, trying to pull anyone with strength and power to his cause, attempting to put himself in the leading position of Unova, and eliminate Xexan as a competitor. As Xexan gathers humans to turn into Pokémorphs, Siphon gathers humans to turn them into cyborgs, seeing far more potential in cybernetics than in genetic manipulation. Humans who haven’t been infected find themselves at crossroads, having two choose between two evils, or be taken by the Tempest Virus. With Unova now quarantined from all the other regions in the world, only time can tell who will still be standing at the end of a dark, inhuman war.

THE XEXAN PATH

The Tempest Virus incident would never be forgotten by you. Even after all the Pokémon testing, it was the incident that caused Xexan to take that first step toward a completely different world. What Xexan discovered was mankind was capable of using the traits, the powers, and the potentials of Pokémon, and bestow them upon themselves. As the discoveries continued, it lead you and your colleagues to believe anything could be accomplished, and it wasn’t long until genetic manipulation had become a way of life, and what Xexan hoped to be a new culture. However, as you discovered, it cost you your hope of ever returning to the normal world of human civilization.

Later on, Xexan had resorted to kidnapping Pokémon trainers, using them and their Pokémon to further the achievements and possibilities of science. Their sacrifice led to new discoveries, and in all cases, you felt the means would be justified by the results. It became Xexan’s goal to one day prepare humanity to take the next step, to become like Pokémon in traits and power.

When the Tempest Virus was released, Fennel Yew, one of the leading Xexan scientists, had issued the command to secure as many human civilians as possible, turn them into Pokémorphs, and save their lives, taking the first crucial step toward not only saving humanity, but changing humanity, and allowing Xexan’s personnel to change civilization and once again rejoin the new society they would create. But even so, the experiments, the testing on Pokémon, and the continued development of science would not stop, not when there was so much more to discover.

As one of Xexan’s personnel, or as one of the citizens saved by Xexan now sworn to help the organization continue its objectives, it’s your mission to continue Xexan’s campaign of research, protect it from Siphon and all others that would try to destroy it, and bring in as many humans as you can to change them, and prepare for the new society to come. The ends will justify the means.

► Protect the Xexan organization at all costs from Siphon and other entities that oppose Xexan’s practices. If lives must be sacrificed to do so, then it must be done without question or hesitation. Xexan has come too far to lose everything and give up the discoveries and innovations it has uncovered. To lose it all would even be a disservice to all of the Pokémon and humans that were sacrificed to discover these innovations. Meanwhile, Siphon must be stopped and destroyed before they create an army of unfeeling, inhuman machines.
► Continue Xexan research. The more that is uncovered, the more it can be used to benefit mankind, and allow it to evolve to become the prime species. Possibilities beyond imagination may be only moments away from discovery. You must continue to uncover what you can and not be stopped by Siphon or anyone else for that matter.
► Find humans, and turn them into Pokémorphs. The Tempest Virus is spreading, and its effects could rapidly kill every last human in Unova. Save whoever you can, the more people Xexan protects from the virus, the more support they will gather.

THE SIPHON PATH

The cyborgs of Mr. Shadow’s Siphon faction are the pinnacle of human ingenuity. As an emissary or warrior of Siphon, you have been protected from the Tempest Virus. While you are less human and more machine now, you feel no pain, no sickness, and no fear. Meanwhile, you are capable of faster, stronger physical performance that could never be possibly achieved by humans. As technology revolutionized the world before the Tempest Virus outbreak, so shall it be with Siphon and the advancement of cybernetics.

It is your mission to carry out the will of Siphon and Mr. Shadow, who has made it clear he wants Xexan destroyed, and everything they’ve created to be eliminated. Armed with the power of the media and propaganda, Mr. Shadow is confident that he will reign above Xexan, and you will be there to help him. Genetic manipulation and the mutants it has created have no place in Unova’s future. Meanwhile, it’s your mission to save and turn any humans with potentials to benefit Siphon into cyborgs. Unlike the Pokémorphs and the Chimeras of Xexan, many cyborgs are still more like humans than their adversaries in terms of appearance. Many humans with potentials that Siphon can use would be willing to become partially machine to survive the virus as opposed to be twisted into a mutant.

As one of Siphon’s operatives, it’s your mission to ensure the success of Siphon as it continues to tap into the vast possibilities of cybernetics. Meanwhile, all those that oppose Siphon, including the mutants of Xexan, must be eliminated. Technology will carry the future, and no better faction can prepare it than Siphon.

► Defend the campaign of Siphon, and destroy Xexan and all those that are out to destroy the technologically advanced faction. If Siphon falls, incalculable, unsalvageable losses of technology will be the aftermath, a defeat that is unacceptable. You must defend Siphon at all costs, and destroy Xexan and its horde of deranged, twisted mutants.
► Continue the cybernetics research. The more Siphon upgrades its technology, the more firepower and the more strength Siphon will command, paving the way for the future, and putting its enemies at its mercy. As technology has served Siphon well in the past, you must continue that vision, and prove to Siphon’s enemies that vision is real through using your new technological capabilities.
► Find humans with potential to benefit Siphon, and turn them into cyborgs to help further the campaign. The faster you act and the more people you recover, the more people you save from the Tempest Virus, and instead help to benefit the Siphon cause.

THE CIVILIAN PATH

You woke up to find Unova had become a nightmare, where all that was once familiar to you had become foreign, twisted, and became a horror you wouldn’t wake up from. It all started with abductions, missing trainers that no one knew the whereabouts of. However, that was nothing compared to what happened only a short time ago.

The Tempest Virus was released in Icirrus City, infecting men, women, and children. Already, the first symptoms and signs of infection have become present as those who are now infected become overwhelmed with tumors and cancerous growths, robbing them of their bodies and their minds before they become deranged in both mentality and appearance. Only after they’ve suffered painfully are they finally allowed to die.

Now, anywhere in northern Unova isn’t safe. The virus is spreading, and there isn’t much time. Meanwhile, it has become known to you that Xexan, a rogue scientific research organization, is trying to gather as many humans as they can and subject them to genetic manipulation. Aside from them, Siphon is hunting for humans that can help serve the purpose of Mr. Shadow, using the media and propaganda to persuade you to join him. You’re running out of time, and either you must turn toward Xexan or Siphon, or find some other way to survive. However, because of the virus, Unova has been quarantined, and no other region wants anything to do with the nightmare that has overtaken Unova.

You must run, and somehow survive and stop both evil organizations from continuing their work. Either that, or give in if all else seems to fail…

► Survive for as long as you can, and stay away from northern Unova. The Tempest Virus is spreading, but you still have time before the virus covers all of Unova. In the meantime, avoid being found by Xexan or Siphon, unless you’ve given up the fight, and just want to find some way to survive…
► If possible, shut down Xexan and Siphon. Though your character may not initially know it, Xexan was responsible for the trainer abductions that resulted in countless numbers of dead Pokémon and trainers, and continue to practice on living test subjects, resulting in humanity becoming strange, foreign mutations. Meanwhile, though you have yet to discover it, Siphon was originally responsible for the Tempest Virus outbreak in the first place, now trying to turn humanity into a new nightmare of machines. Both of them have visions to change the future, a future where humanity is no longer present…
► Gather any other humans you can, and try to put a stop to the nightmare. Xexan and Siphon may underestimate the power humanity may still have. The more people you gather to help you, the better chance you have at stopping both factions, and maybe, by chance, discover a cure to the virus that doesn’t involve such macabre, inhumane consequences…

Default Re: [SU] Pokémon: Dark Science - Black Consernation

Cool i wanted to join the original Dark science but i thigured it was to far into the story. so here goes.

Ok so my character is going to be a part of the Siphon organisation.

Previous human name: James Dasillion.
Name given by Siphon: C.E.A.S.A.R Dasillion (C.E.A.S.A.R stands for Cyborg Engineered for Scientific Analytical Research)
Age: 25
Description: Ceasar basically looks like he did in his previous human life. He stands around5'9 and has dark brown hair that is spiked up with gel. He has radiant blue eyes and unblemished skin that has a slight glow to it.

The only thing about him thats gives away the fact that he is a Cyborg is that during his human life, as James, an accident caused him to lose an arm and as such a new arm was attached to his body during his tranformation into a Cyborg, however Siphon has not quite perfected the art to creating human skin yet so his arm is uncovered and appears metallic with various wires running up and down it. you can also see the various cogs and machinery working in his arm when he moves it.

Although appearing human Ceaser is all machine underneath as when humans undergo the transformation into cyborgs their in ternals are removed and replaced with robotics.

Ceaser is usually seen wearing a white labcoat and white pants as he was designed to further the Cybernetic research of Siphon to create more advanced systems for the next generation of cyborgs. And this is the uniform clothing of all CEASAR model cyborgs.

Personality: As a human James was a sweet, caring young man but as a Cyborg he has very limited emotional capacity and his work is fuelled by his personal saying "Failure is not an option". As a reward for handing himself over to Siphon willingly James was aloud to keep his memories of his past life as a human.

History: James was your average sort of guy during his human life. Never cared for trouble and always did what he was told. But James always had the feeling that he was destined for greater things in life.

He loved anything to do with science and when the Xexan Corporation opened in the region he was one of the first to hand in his application unfortunately he was turned down and James swore that one day he would get his revenge on those that thought lowly of his skill.

James went about his ways for the years to come and one day he heard that the Xexan Corporation had dissapeared from sight and were being blamed for a series of brutal murders and dissapearance. James was kind of glad he hadnt joined them now.

Then one day the region was completely turned upside down by the arrival of another organisation known as Siphon and the outbreak of the Tempest virus. Now in a mad rush against time it seemed Xexan had come out of the shadows to oppose the newly founded Siphon and both were in a war to destroy the other and protect the human race from being wiped out. Xexan went about their ways recruiting or capturing humans and turning them into half human half pokemon mutants usually involving pain and suffering or even death. Siphon went about their ways recruiting or capturing humans and turning them into Cyborgs which seemed much less painfull to James and better than being spliced with a pokemon to become an abomination of nature.

So James decided to join Siphon in their cause and handed himself over willingly. Siphon were aware of James great scientific mind and so had him made into the CEASAR model which would see him placed in the state-of-the-art research lab to further Siphons data base to create much more powerfull and intelligent Cyborgs. He was given access to any and all equipment he could ever wish for and even though he was now mostly machine he loved his new life.

Weapons and Implants: Ceaser is equipped with high speed analytical contact lenses that are placed over his eyes which allow him to analyse and gather information on any life he looks at, instantly. Ceaser is also equipped with lasers that shoot from his fingers as a basic means of weaponry should he find himself in trouble but as an extra defense he also has rockets that will project from his chest.

Pokemon: Ceaser thinks that Cyborgs have no need for pokemon as they themselves are quite capable of taking on other life forms but as a precautions he has a Porygon, Porygon 2 and Porygon-Z which often help him with his research.

Other: Ceaser is currently working on a device that will, when finished, be connected to a cyborgs standard laser and will allow the insertion of small elemental chips that change the type of the laser so that the cyborgs are capable of taking on pokemon themselves with almost always successfull results.

Ceaser is also working on personal project that involves combining the effects of an Up-Grade and Dubious Disc which will allow him to create an object that will fuse his three porygon forms together. He is yet to think of a name for his final product.

Default Re: [SU] Pokémon: Dark Science - Black Consernation

Name: Fennel Yew/Hilda Marline Livinal

Gender: Female

Age: Technically 110, but has the body of a 16 year old.

Pokemon Forms: Ninetales and Mismagius

Description: Hilda stands at 5-foot-4, with beautiful and flawless skin in a cream color, and dark brown hair in a graceful, S-Shaped, extra-wide and extra-long ponytail, with a few additional locks of golden hair also evident. Even then, Some of this black hair also dangles down in two locks of hair that are nearby her face, and an additonal two purple streaks, rather jagged, stopping just above the eyes. Her Crystal-Blue eyes, deep as an ocean, with a slight indigo tint, along with a perfectly sized nose and a smile that lights up the whole room, all without any facial flaws like zits or pimples, make for a face that even married men could stare at for hours. She wears a hat, Pink and White with a PokeBall descripted on the front. Upon her neck, and seamlessly intertwined with it as of fact, is a chain of cherry-red orbs, starting a odd 'dress' that covers her upper body. A pink hair clip with a flower pattern on it is upon one of the locks that dangle down near her face.

She wears a white sleeveless shirt with a black sleeveless jacket, making evidence of her physical power and her body's near-flawlessness. Two sweatbands are upon her wrists, and on the left sweatband is her red Xtranceiver. Her nails do look like claws, and her whole lower body is coated in a near-invisible, yet innumerable amount of golden fur. She wears short-short jeans, with a white fluff of fabric coming out in a stylized fasion, again showing off her muscles. Her boots are flexible enough for running, and have a print of PokeBalls and the Pokemon Munna.

However, one feature can easily be classified as inhuman-the obvious presence of the nine tails of a Ninetales, with an additonal two tails. Each one has a different coloration; The 1st and 11th tails are the same as any other Ninetales'es tails-gold with brown tips. The 2nd and 10th have slightly darker coloration, with black tips over brown. The 3rd and 9th tails are brown with black tips, the 4th and 8th tails are indigo with black tips, and the 5th, 6th, and 7th tails near the center are black, spiky, and have both red and indigo tips. The 6th is longer than the others. Eerie blue balls of flame also can surround Fennel at times.

Of course, this isn't Fennel's actual body. Her actual body was that of a centurian's-old, wrinkled, deprived of all strength, beauty, and youth through the cruel hand of time, with only the insanly long hair to identify her from other old women. This body is actually unconsious, and technically dead. Xexan lost the body, though Fennel doesn't mind.

Personality: Like all of her fellow Xexan scientists, she firmly belives that the motives can justify the means; However, unlike most Xexan scientists, she also belives that sometimes, there is such a thing as going too far. Sure, it is compleatly sane and very acceptable to attempt to find a way to acheive everlasting life, obtain powers that would benefit all of humanity, invent objects that could change the world for the better, and other things like that, even if innocent and unwilling Pokemon get harmed. However, to see if, persay, a Miltank's head would stay alive and consious if separated from the rest of it's body is unnesicary and cruel. Of course, in the very rare case scenario that Xexan manages to get a hold of a willing participant to do a mildly dangerous experiment that could greatly impact all manners of living for the better, well, you can bet that she'll be feeling nothing but jubilee, and would most likely be a part of it. Minimal cost, maximum benefit: What she likes in every case scenario. The numbers themselves don't count, the difference between them does; she doesn't care how much she harms, so long as she produces far more good than bad.

That being said, she can tolerate a lot of bad if the potential good is far too great to be ignored. It is a possibility as to why she lended a hand in making the technology behind K1-A3; to allow a person to 'body-jump:' Taking the consious out of one being and placing it in another, which could allow for multiple practical uses, once one thought about it for a while (Including transferring human minds to Pokemon Bodies). It is equally a possibility why she transferred her mind to Hilda's after the latter's own mind was separated from her own body, and placed into her Dewott's. She also lent a hand in the discovery of how to properly splice genes to create Pokemorphs and Chimeras, believing it could increase one's ability to defend oneself from attacks by Wild Pokemon, and potentially grant the release from specific genetic disorders the genes of specific Pokemon would remove, and of course, used it on herself after she was inside Hilda's body.

Of course, considering her real age, she's very smart, and has incredible amounts of IQ, a reasonable amount for someone that is compleatly devoted to the study of Pokemon Biology-a very hard topic requiring extensive knowledge of the subject and many others. However, this isn't too apparent. What her appearance doesn't immediatly mask, the mindset she adopted from being a teenager again keeps this almost impossible. She's has the attitude an overacheiver, and doesn't tolerate failure. She can seem to care less about her research, and more about her renewed strength, youth, and beauty. In truth, she cares more for the former than the latter, though both have a lot of leverage, and it's obvious that whenever the chance pops up that says she could give her further longivity, immortality, everlasting beauty and strength, so on and so forth, she'll pounce on it.

That being said, it isn't all about her and Xexan. The Pokemon she's had for most of her life, and the ones she 'inherited' from Hilda, and even Hilda herself, imprisoned in the body of her Dewott, with an error in Project K1-A3 wiping her memory and her Dewott's memory clean, are all very precious to her, and she would rather be experimented on if it meant that she'd save her Pokemon from it, too; Fortunatly for her, the steady flow of Trainers and their Pokemon are keeping her Pokemon safe from experimentation, for now. An added blessing is that Xexan's scientists probably wouldn't do it anyways, as they would feel the wrath of her, and the pain of the 1000-year curses those tails have been embedded with, had they been experimented on without her consultation.

History: Fennel Yew was born in Castelia city, and lived there for most of her childhood. She had a Munna as a youthful friend at an early age, and they both grew to be close as best friends. Her parents were proud of her: She was already proving to be a very smart and strong girl, and was beautiful for someone so young. She was the head of the class, picked first in sports, and boys had crushes on her, even in elementary school. She was already being the overacheiver she would always be.

In Castelia High, she got herself onto the A honor roll, and was one of the top ten students that ever attended the school. She was also a prominent figure in Women's basketball, Tennis, Soccer, and Volleyball. At prom, she would have been the most asked-out girl there was, had it not been girl's choice.

It was in Castelia University that Fennel started wearing her glasses, but nevertheless was as beautiful as ever. Her Munna evolved into a Murshana, and the very nature of Evolution, after seeing it for the first time, fascinated her. She took Pokemon Biology as a Major, which was a course that was very hard, as it took mastery in several fields to be able to work in her field. However, she eventually excelled, as usual, and managed to become one of the best students ever enrolled, second only to Professor Juniper.

After Graduating, and with 6 extra years of studying, she finally decided to start on her Pokemon Journey, taking a Oshawott as her starter. Fennel was a incredible trainer mopping the floor with the Gyms of Unova...All the while tinkering with various peices of machinery, and studying various concepts of Pokemon that were previously untouched...

She finally defeated the last gym of Unova, and obtained all the Badges she could from the region. She could have gone all the way, too-Taken the Leauge on, defeated the Elite 4, and claimed the title of Champion. However, before she could even get to the badge gates, she made the discovery of a lifetime. In fact, it was the discovery that made her famous.

The Portable Dream Machine, a device about the size of a labtop, able to view the dreams of Pokemon, a previously unseen device at best. Pokemon Dreams were a highly controversial subject, mainly because of the prevailing question: If humans were to have dreams of things that are impossible to them, then what are Pokemon to dream of?

Fennel discovered quite quickly that Pokemon dream of the same thing. She called it the Dream World, mainly because it was the absolute nexus of the Pokemon's mind, and was truly the thing that made Magikarp equal Arceus. Moreover, she soon came up with another, less known device-The C-Gear, able to warp people to Entralink, a space made of a Pokemon's dreams and a Person's memories. She discovered the Dream World Pokemon, Pokemon that are born in the dream world, and appear in the Entralink if a Pokemon in the dream world, owned by a trainer, befriends the Pokemon.

And she became famous. Very Famous.

However, over time, it became apparent of something else. She once thought that she might have been able to resume her quest to defeat the Elite 4, and become Champion, and be the very person that everyone would talk about...But she had to settle for being a very famous inventer. It wasn't her health that gave way, she was at least 28 at the time. It was two things.

The first was Team Plasma. The very words they spoke shook Fennel's soul. Humans abusing Pokemon? Many nights, she wondered if Pokemon Battles did more harm than help. Over time, and even after N came back after 4 years of traveling all over the world, stating that he was incredibly wrong to begin with and was compleatly fooled and led astray by Ghetsis, she stayed away from Pokemon Battling, and kept to studying the Dream World.

However, the second came unexpectedly, and was even more violent and destructive. It made her question everything.

Her Murshana, her loyal Murshana that had been with her for years and years, had caught a Pokemon-specific illness that had a 100% death rate. It would start with painful headaches and flu-like symptoms, then turn into severe nausia and mental instability, then having the virus multiply to the point where the host partly becomes a virus, while having the victim's insides basically turn to liquid, to culuminate in literally, a bloody explosion of guts and bodily fluids, both turned a sickening black from the virus.

She decided to check her dreams one last time. It would be the last before she would have to be locked up to prevent other Pokemon from catching the disease in question, and to keep humans from becoming carriers of the disease, spreading it to Pokemon unwittingly. While the Murshana of Fennels in the real world was suffering greatly, the Mushana inside the Dream World she looekd at wasn't sick in the slightest, and went about as it pleased. It broke Fennel's heart to see her beloved companion's last dream before death, and broke it even more to see her Mushana in such a good condition there, while having a highly painful condition in real life. Such was the greif, that she did something that would cease it in a method that, at the time, she would NEVER have considered.

It was a minor mix-up, something that anyone could have done in the moment; Fennel simply pressed a fast abort button, a button used in the case of an emergency, if the Pokemon needed to wake up right then and there...But she forgot to release the saftey lock, which kept her Mushana from waking up and having a vomiting spree.

Fennel was truly afraid of the stupid move she just made-this could kill the poor Mushana early, and it was definatly not good to do it while it slept, having the last minutes of happiness it ever would have. She immediatly disengaged the saftely lock, and quickly looked at the codes on the screen of the Dream Machine, appearing in ways Fennel never saw before.

Her Mushana woke up just fine-No pain was delivered to her because of the mistake Fennel made, and no problems with her health were recorded from then-on-in...Which, considering that said Mushana was currently inflicted with a virus that had a 100% Fatality rate in Pokemon, was indeed, odd. Further research concluded something Fennel was suprised about. In fact, she was scared of it. It was amazing and terrifying. Mortal men wasn't supposed to see this kind of thing.

What did she do? Far from causing Mushana any harm, she seemed to reverse it-From the Dream World, an antibody seemed to have been forcibly injected without pain into the Mushana in the real world, literally drawling out the power of the dream world into the real world, which was unheard of outside of the Entralink (Which technically wasn't real, even then). She kept the notes and the codes that were present to herself. This was something she'd keep secret.

She noticed something else, too. Whatever she did, she also added a considerable amount of time to Mushana's lifespan, and in fact, the Pokemon could now exist to double it's lifespan (A Mushana's lifespan was 10-15 years more than a Human's, making this quite powerful). Again, Fennel was thankful that the accident gave out a posotive outcome, but at the time, she wasn't exactly ready to accept that it was good to have done it at all.

Time passed, and those two events kept nagging at her mind and soul in ways that most people didn't have to deal with. Fifty years passed, and it seemed like Fennel would be dying any day, her age now at 89 at best. It was then that Xexan started recruiting, and what was a scientific company to not consider a world-famous scientist as a employee? She joined as one of the oldest scientists in the corporation, and was one of very few to have been around for the Plasma incident.

She worked hard, studying inside the bounds of science, albeit she did shutter whenever blood came into the picture...And those questions that kept bugging her since they were first conceived were always put into greater emphasis after each day working there. Meanwhile, she became older and older, and no longer showed any of her former beauty and strength. Her vitality was almost all gone.

And then came the question for all of Xexan: Would they shove aside morality, and remove all guidelines from their path, to truly delve into science at it's strongest, and uncover the greatest secrets of all mankind? It was a question that was at first highly unliked by a great deal of the company, mainly because no current scientific document was known in which the scientist who made it overstepped the boundaries to produce a highly beneficial result.

And here Fennel was, with detailed notes of the codes from the incident that saved her Mushana's life. The questions were finally answered one night, written down on paper in a condo she had bought with the money she had. The writing looked like she was shaking violently.

"For such a long time, I was contending with the question if the limits the government set down were truly what kept mankind from discovering the big things. Where was our stem cell research when people needed it? Where are the cures to cancer? Where are the cures to disabilities? Why aren't we being helped? Those questions joined many others, others that I dare not put on paper. But one kept coming back. One that kept coming back, with the knowledge that I have cured my own Mushana of an uncurable disease that was also one with no hope of survival, with a simple-yet compleatly accidental-step out of the boundaries of legal science. And ever since, the question haunted me, and had I not found the answer, It would have haunted me to the grave.

Why were those people suffering?

And I have at last decided upon what to do. I found the answer. I will overstep those boundaries, for they are nothing but what slaughtered millions already, and could slaughter millions more. The Government has kept people from living. That is a crime-no, an abomination-that must immediatly be solved. And I know how to solve it."

The next day, she presented the text of what happened during the incident.

The new, much more malicious experiments immediatly began, with most of the company convinced that it was the right way to proceed. Fennel became a part of it, and in time, she grew less prone to the cries of help, the crying and wailing of Pokemon and Trainers, and the sight of blood that originally made others cringe.

And She invented many things. She helped create the devices that would allow for the genetic splicing of Humans and Pokemon, and was a critical player in the creation of Experiment K1-A3, and the technology behind it.

One day, another Pokemon Trainer was captured. She had a Dewott. Fennel was reminded of the days when she traveled with Musharna and Oshawott, and was reminded of how the latter died-peacefully and without great pain on Fennel's part. And she was reminded of her former beauty, her former strength, her former youth, her former glory.

She would later realize that this trainer's name was Hilda Marline Livinal, and that she would be one of the first to be subjected into K1-A3. She had all her Pokemon but her Dewott taken from her, and when they were about to go into kennels, awaiting their own Experiments, Fennel stopped the Scientist that was carrying them, asking if one or two could be her own.

The Scientist shrugged. It really didn't matter, it would come out of her pay. He handed over a Drilbur and a Petilil, and put the others in the storage. She quickly walked back to the site of the Experiment.

She watched the monitors with eyes that were sharper than they ever were for the last few years. However, she was told that she was the one to ask the question. She walked over to Hilda, now just being given the anesthetics.

"Tell me, would you die for your Pokemon?"

Hilda feebly answered yes. Before she went under, Fennel said one more thing.

"How kind of you."

That was the last of Hilda Livinal. Walking back to the monitors, Fennel realized that although Hilda's consious was there, the consious of the Pokemon she owned-which should have been wiped out entierly before her mind got in-was still present. By the time she yelled "NO! STOP THE EXPERIMENT! ABORT!" It was too late. The eradication of both minds was swift, undifferentiating, but wasn't complete. The Dewott awoke, but with no memory whatsoever. Nothing worked. This use of K1-A3 was a failure. However, Fennel managed to keep Hilda/Dewott for herself. She would (much) later call her Marline, because it sounded better.

And then she would look at Hilda's old body. It was there. Ripe for the taking. She looked at her own, wrinkled hands.

She asked the scientist if it was possible for a human (specifically her) to have their mind transplanted in another human's (specifically Hilda). The scientist said 'yes.'

The experiment started at once. The use of consious-destroying neurotoxins was unnesicary, considering Hilda had no consious at all, so it was much safer on Fennel's part. Fennel would never forget the feeling of being shot with the anesthetics, going unconsious, only feeling a kind of rushing sensation, then to awake inside Hilda's body, now her own. Fennel Yew was born again.

And the feeling that came after she realized it was a sucess was unlike any other. She felt the happiest she felt in years.

She was so happy about the fact that she had her youth back. Twice was a risk taken, twice was the reward far greater, with almost no cost. It wasn't her choice to have Hilda's actual mind eradicated, but with her body free for anyone afterwards, it wasn't morally burdening to have taken it.

This particular day was when a squad of investigators was dispatched to their location. They successfully subdued the captives, who coughed up the information about the Government clamping down on them.

They fled, they fled in haste, and they forgot to take Fennel's old body. But that wasn't of importance. Fennel got her important research papers and all her Pokemon together for the rush out of their Undella Location.

They then settled down, making two more locations-The Bravo location south of Chargestone Cavern, which is also compleatly evacuated, and the Alpha location, thier base of operations in Inner Pinwheel Forest. Fennel herself moved to the latter location. Chargestone was also making a Third (or Theta) Location in Challenger's Cave, but it was never compleated.

Fennel then decided on something-To become a Chimera. She thought it over, and didn't want to make any stupid selections of Pokemon that she'd regret. Then Fennel saw an experiment where a Mismagius was chanting incantations. Fennel didn't believe in magic prior to this. She chose Mismagius and Ninetales.

The Scientists work was good, and again was Fennel rewarded for taking a risk. The scientists not only managed to give Fennel a vastly increased lifespan, but also gave Fennel/Hilda powers that she could only have dreamed of. The best part was, she finally realized that sometimes the boundaries were superficial and meaningless. And all three times she herself took a risk, accidentally or on purpose, she found out that those barriers were superficial and meaningless.

She was, for a time, highly engrossed in her Work, but then Aur Morose did something incredibly bad for their skin-He took the bait to a spotter trap that almost compromised their location, had Fennel not immediatly knocked out all 19 attackers, and taken 18 hostage, giving the 19th amnesia. Shortly afterwards, she took one of the Pokemon-A Golurk-and decided to open it up.

She was again rewarded-Although the Chimera who opened it up was incinerated by a massive torrent of energy, a Few EMP's later, and the Golurk had all of it's incredible amounts of Technology emptied out, the giant living no further.

However, another opportunity was spawning for her. Evolutionary Chemicals were being developed, and they were sucessfully tested on Pokemon, with fantastic results; Save the Normal-Type Evolutionary Chemicals, which were non-reactive. The testing Audino turned out to be Shiny and able to speak English, so Fennel caught it. It was also meant to work on Pokemorphs and Chimeras, but it was found out that they'd need Mew DNA. Fennel quickly heard of a Mew Hair being shipped to Nacrene Museum.

Necros broke out of the PokeBall that Fennel caught him in, and screwed up the operation-However, Fennel's furious tossing of this PokeBall at the ground managed to catch the actual Mew, without either knowing it until later. Rushing back on the news of Tempest Virus, carrying a girl she found on the way there, she gave the orders to make everyone Pokemorphs or Chimeras, everyone they could get their hands on. Tempest wasn't pretty, and it was hell to see someone infected.

And Xexan's goal from the start was to benefit humanity.

She managed to use Mew's DNA to 'Evolve,' giving her the appearance she has now, and the girl she found was given Lilligant Genetics (To the girl's delight). Now, Fennel was ready to fight to shape the future to be better. Xexan served humanity, Siphon served the machines. Which was better? (Besides, she got all that pre-historic technology from the Golurk, so who needed Siphon?).

Powers: Thanks to the Ninetales genes within her, she now has a 140,030-year plus lifespan, along with eleven tails to forcefully subject curses into unsuspecting foes that dare touch her tails. Friends can touch it without harmful effect, and she herself can most certainly touch it without harm, but enemies, no, they would feel the full force of the powerful, hundred-millenia-long curses. She can give these curses posotive effects too, giving her allies such good things as good luck. She may also chant incantations, an ability granted by being part-Mismagius. These incantations could bring about extremely severe headaches when being used to cause harm at their strongest, also granting the foe a dose of insanity. In the opposite, healing perspective, these can be used to heal and disinfect minor, moderate and semi-severe wounds, as well as give the receiver a extra dose of happiness. Due to her genetics, she is also immune to-and in fact, is given additional power upon contact with-fire, and can very well breathe it, and the Moves of Normal Type and Fighting Type Pokemon, along with regular meele attacks from humans, are almost compleatly ineffective against her. She can also use Telepathy, and control up to four balls of light blue fire. These fireballs can only go three feet outwards from Fennnel's position, but are highly effective in close-range combat.

Pokemon: Marline the Dewott, Spiral the Ecxadrill, Rosetta the Lilligant, Mushana, Swanna, Mew.

Marline the Dewott: A mistake in the technology that gave birth to the K1-A3 experiment caused Hilda's memory, along with the Dewott's memory and conscious, to be eradicated, with absolutely no hope of recovery. The result was merely a Dewott that had very few instincts, but was smarter than most other Dewott. Fennel's influence as a senior member of Xexan allowed her to obtain Hilda, whose middle name she discovered to be Marline, who she raises lovingly and tenderly like any of her other Pokemon. She isn't willing to tell Marline the truth yet. She is afraid that she wouldn't understand. She probably never will understand. Nevertheless, Marline is a loyal companion of Fennel/Hilda.

Spiral the Excadrill: A Pokemon that was once Hilda's, Fennel obtained it prior to Hilda's unfortunate memory loss, and Evolved it after settling down in Pinwheel Forest. Spiral knows about what went down, and knows that Fennel didn't intend for it to happen either. He is loyal and trusting of Fennel/Hilda, and Fennel herself treats Spiral just as she would her own Pokemon.

Rosetta the Lilligant: A Pokemon that was once Hilda's, Fennel obtained it prior to Hilda's unfortunate memory loss, and Evolved it after settling down in Pinwheel Forest. Rosetta knows about what went down, and knows that Fennel didn't intend for it to happen either. However, although she is trusting of Fennel, and Fennel cares for her like her own Pokemon, Rosetta still harbors resent towards Fennel.

Musharna: A Pokemon that Fennel had since Childhood, and the Pokemon that she would unwittingly and accidentally cure of a incurable and 100% fatal disease, the bond between her and Fennel is beyond almost anything that Trainers have seen: They act like sisters. Sharing an equal amount of experience as Fennel/Hilda, Musharna would lay down her life for Fennel just as much as Fennel would lay down her life for Musharna. She knows about the body swap, and was present to witness it.

Swanna: Fennel obtained this Swanna from the Entralink, and this Swanna has the Ability Hydration as such. Swanna was a Pokemon that Fennel used often during her late campaign through Unova, and also was the Pokemon she used to participate in her only contest, which she won. Swanna and Fennel treat each other like close friends, and Swanna was present for Fennel's body swap.

Mew: Mew was a very accidental capture in the Nacrene Museum-Even Fennel wasn't intending to find that her randomly thrown Quick Ball would hit anything at all, much less the mother of all sentinent life. Mew had gone through a device that can rewrite memories, making Mew think she found Fennel around the time Fennel first met Munna, and had stuck with her and Musharna through most of her life. Despite this, Mew is still highly pro-life, and cannot bear the thought of cyborgs running around, and if she was human, she'd be a Pokemorph before you could say 'Pokemon.' She wasn't present for the Body Swap, but Fennel told her anyways.

Other: As a genius, Fennel has information on just about anything, and is a very very very smart person, with a PHD in Pokemon Biology and Dream World research. She has upgraded her Xtranceiver to do a number of things, including hacking, serving as a Pokedex, and other functions, and was further upgraded with the addition of Robert Dinkin's Comp. Fennel/Hilda's physique is very good for her age, and does pose a physical threat to the unprepared. She carries 2 Encrypt 143 Pistols with sights and silencers on her person at all times, in case of emergency, and she is a good shot. She also wields an AMPLE (Anti-Material and Personall Long-range EMP), which is basically a three-in-one gun; A gun with a 3x magnification scope, a condensed EMP that can take out any electronic (And most of those cyborgs running around), and a Ultrasound which can knock out regular humans and Pokemon without protection, and can also destroy small electronics (An Ipad has exploded during testing of the AMPLE.). During the crisis, she also got to know how to wield two knifes and a Permafrost 117 Sniper Rifle.

And did I mention that this is the longest SU I have ever made for one character? This beats Fennel's last SU in terms of leangth. Oh, and for those confused about Mew being in my party, as that directly offends the 'no legends' rule Neo put down...I RPed my way into catching the Pink Embryo Cat in the Prequal (The original Dark Science), so if you want a legend, earn it.

@ Nova Eevee

Description needs a bit more, you covered his clothing, but there’s no telling how tall he is, what his hair style and hair/eye color is like, what his skin tone is, what kind of body frame he has, and so on. Also, does he take good care of himself? As for his clothing, are they kept clean, or do they show evidence of stains, tears, and other signs of rough traveling? The more you describe, the more lifelike the character will become.

Personality seems to be a good start, but it would also be a good idea to flesh it out more, go into how he reacts in certain cases, such as if he does well under pressure, if he’s more impatient or patient, if he thinks more with brains or relies more on his brawn, and then tying it with how he reflects on the RP’s storyline and situation. Since he’s a civilian, what are his personal views regarding Xexan and Siphon? Is he trying more to simply survive, or does he really have a strong intention of stopping them and bringing them down?

History could use a bit more as well, maybe reflect on what his childhood was like and how those experiences raised him to be what he is today in present time. You covered a bit of that, but what kinds of challenges and life-changing experiences did he face?

Build it up a bit more, what you have is a good start though. If you want an example of a really good sign up, read Latio-Reol’s, though I’m not expecting something to be that long. Just use it as an idea of what you could put in there. Pending.

@ Supremist Rain

Looks awesome, you’re all set. Personality could have used a tinge more, but what you have is good. Accepted.

@ Latio-Reol

It’s awesome, it’s long, but really good. Definitely accepted. You rock.

Default Re: [SU] Pokémon: Dark Science - Black Consernation

Name: Alex Waters
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Pokémon Forms: Bellossom, Lilligant, and Venusaur (Definitely not his intention :P)

Description: Alex’s appearance is the result of his breaking up with his now ex-girlfriend Jewel, a Xexan surgeon, to be with an Xexan laboratory assistant named Chibi instead. Jewel didn’t take it lightly, and before Alex’s Chimera transformation, she swapped out his original choices of an aggressive Mightyena and a mighty Arcanine for something much more docile and vibrant instead, obviously without his knowledge. As a result, no one even thinks of messing with Jewel anymore, and see her smug grin as a dangerous warning.

Alex stands 6’3” from the ground, covered from head to toe with smooth, light green skin, and no longer has any strands of hair. Meanwhile, he has the four, bulb-like legs of a Lilligant with the small yellow feet, only they’re covered by the Bellossom bell-shaped skirt of large green and yellow leaves that come out from around his waist and lightly touch the floor.

On Alex’s back is the massive flower of a Venusaur that covers most of his back, nearly from the back of his head to the back of his feet. Surrounding it are many Venusaur and Lilligant leaves, making the skin of Alex’s back impossible to see unless they’re pushed aside.

On the back of Alex’s head is the large, red flower of a Lilligant, accompanied by a few leaves that cover whatever part of his head the flower misses. Meanwhile, on the front left and right sides of Alex’s forehead are the two red and yellow flowers of a Bellossom.

It took some time, but he got over it.

Personality: Reckless, daring, and fearless, Alex is more on the wild and unpredictable side, and is also known for getting things done quickly from his lack of patience. Frustrations, however, never really bring him down, and he uses them as the material of comedy. He also isn’t a big fan of explaining things or trying to describe how things work to others, especially those that really don’t need to know anyway.

As Alex is officially a technician and computer operator for Xexan, most of his daily tasks include debugging, as well as hardware upgrades and maintenance. He isn’t too much of a fan of software or operating systems, but he knows how to handle them and put them to work, even though he finds working on that is a little nerdy and geeky for him. He does whatever he can to dodge out of getting plugged into that stereotype. However, the way Alex configures hardware and systems is arranged in his own personal style, meaning if someone else were to open it up and examine the wire configurations and setup, they’d never be able to understand it, only Alex would. As a result, while most Xexan members find Alex reliable and that he knows his stuff, he’s unpredictable, and his job security is guaranteed considering no one would know what to do about the computers if he left.

Alex also likes to socialize, and knows how to improvise if time is short and someone needs something fast. He’s also prone to peer pressure, and likes to try new things that look exciting. If someone were to suggest skydiving, he’d definitely jump on the occasion, even though he may have never done it before. Still, even though he knows how to do work quickly in the event of an emergency, he’s definitely not a Type A personality and never aspires to be. Those who try to pile him under a mountain of tasks and slap a priority one label on everything often find Alex is quick to uncover the truth that they’re just not being honest with him, and he’ll laugh about it and take his sweet time.

History: Alex was born in Nimbasa City, and as a child, he was considered wild and energetic. In his early years, he didn’t really care too much about his education, thinking Bs and Cs were great, and As were just there for those who were bored and liked schoolwork (which he didn’t). Meanwhile, he loved sports and gym class as a kid. Unfortunately, becoming a pro athlete was like winning the lottery, so he knew he could only do it for fun.

Around the age of 12, Alex started his Pokémon journey, choosing Snivy as a starter, and naming him “Sneaky.” Alex liked the idea of whipping out powerful Pokémon in unsuspecting people’s faces, but he knew this required a lot of hard training and work. For two years, Alex traveled around Unova, collected the necessary badges, and challenged the league. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out, he lost, but he was cool and clear-headed enough to say it was fun and he had no regrets about it.

Upon heading back to school, Alex originally disliked computers, thought they were annoying and unresponsive, but it was the passion to put them under his control that he decided to pursue a technology related position. Alex studied up on how computers worked, how hardware operated, and how it worked together with software and operating systems. Though a lot of his classmates considered computers to be geeky, Alex tried to shove aside the common misperception that computers are complicated, and everyone that uses a computer is a pasty-faced, crooked-teethed nerd who wears a nerdy white shirt with pocketed pens and thick glasses with a big, black plastic frame. Alex had a way about it of telling others that a CPU was pretty much a computer’s brain, a hard drive was just memory, and a motherboard was just pretty much the guts of a computer. In truth, Alex would have been great for writing a “Computers for Dummies” book if he ever had the opportunity.

Once he graduated from technical school with a degree in computer science, he was invited by his college girlfriend, Jewel, to join her at Xexan to start a new career. Back then, Alex really liked Jewel as a girlfriend, and loved to hang out with her and treat her to movies, vacations, and even do a few wild and fun things with her, like paintball, skydiving, snowboarding, and the like. Xexan already had several positions for researchers filled, but they needed a computer expert who could configure their systems for them. After being interviewed by Xexan, Alex was a strong and solid choice, even though his style wasn’t exactly by the book or completely orthodox.

While working for Xexan, the fact they tested on live Pokémon and even humans never really bothered Alex that much. What the scientists did was really their business and he wasn’t interested in getting all uppity about it. Jewel, who had taken a surgeon position at Xexan, often talked to Alex, and their “puppy love” was often the lunchroom chat of the other scientists, many times they caught them kissing in the exam rooms on break.

The Tempest Virus accident didn’t affect Alex in any way, but it did affect his girlfriend Jewel, who was caught in the same section where the virus broke out, and had to quickly decide to become a Chimera of a Swanna and a Cinccino, two of her favorite Pokémon. At first, Jewel thought it was going to be a disaster, but she was actually delightfully impressed with the results, admiring her two white wings and was amazed at how well the Cinccino fur transitioned into the Swanna feathers. Alex was glad Jewel was alright, though he couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at her new appearance.

Weeks later, Alex had run into a laboratory assistant he hadn’t met before, one by the name of Chibi, a Chimera of an Eevee and a Furret. Unlike Jewel, who was more reserved, patient, and was slow to pick up on Alex’s rather wild adventures, Chibi was much more his style, outgoing, fun-loving, and very casual. At first, they were friends, but later on, it started getting more serious. However, Alex… just didn’t feel right about cheating on Jewel, who seemed to be more formal and boring the more he hung out with Chibi. As a result, Alex casually broke up with Jewel, much to Jewel’s anger, which she kept hidden.

As more and more Xexan personnel started becoming Pokémorphs and Chimeras, Alex was invited by several of the already transformed Xexan scientists to do the same. He didn’t take very long to think about it, liking the idea of going with Mightyena and Arcanine. After making his choices, he later went into surgery.

Jewel hadn’t forgiven Alex with what he did, and she knew he only broke up with her so he could be with Chibi instead, who she believed was more of a brat than an assistant. So, as a result, Jewel swapped Alex’s choices of Mightyena and Arcanine with a request of Bellossom, Lilligant, and Venusaur instead, and since Alex didn’t know about it from being out cold by the anesthetic, he didn’t find out about it until it was too late. When he initially woke up, he was in total shock at having been transformed into a flower-based Pokémon Chimera and could have sworn it was a really, really bad accidental mix-up… until he found Jewel’s note by his bedside in the exam room he woke up in:

Hope you find it helpful if you ever forget to get flowers for Chibi’s birthday.

Love,
Jewel

P.S. Don’t screw with people who handle genetic surgery. :)

Once it was discovered how and why it happened, there were many Xexan scientists who considered it to be a pretty cruel prank and payback, especially considering it was now something Alex was stuck with for life. Because of it, no one even thinks about getting on Jewel’s bad side. Regardless, Alex just brushed it off casually, having no grudges against Jewel, and admits he probably should have seen it coming, even though he feels he didn’t really deserve it. Chibi wasn’t bothered by it one bit, even considered it to be “cooler than Mightyena and Arcanine,” though Alex usually felt she said that just to cheer him up. As part of the running gag and to make Chibi smile, Alex still gets flowers for her birthday, and doesn’t rely on the ones he’s wearing.

Now, Alex continues his work on Xexan’s computers, but also prepares in case Siphon attacks Xexan, helping in trying to bring in as many humans as he can to save them from the virus outbreak. He doesn’t think highly of Siphon’s “bots” and “borgs” as he calls them, and he doesn’t like to imagine Unova where everyone speaks in lines of code. As Alex knows computers well, he feels AI and cybernetics are better off as tools, not culture. He definitely doesn’t want to see Siphon come out on top.

Powers: Alex has regenerative capabilities, able to heal cuts, lacerations, and even severed limbs much faster with an advanced healing rate. Also, sunlight gives him more energy as a kind of sugar rush, and speeds up his agility and recovery rates. However, as a result of all this, Alex no longer has an appetite for food, and only needs water to survive.

Pokémon:

Sneaky the Serperior – Originally Alex’s starter as a Snivy, Sneaky likes to make every adversary think he’s weak and not up to it, and then surprises them, much to their detriment. Other times, he toys with his opponents before bringing them down, playing with their weaknesses for fun and sport. He also likes root beer and likes the techno music that Alex plays while working.

Linebacker the Blastoise – Tough, strong, and gruff, Linebacker is like a casino bouncer among Pokémon, always relying on brawn and ready to show his competition that he means business and sure isn’t a pushover. Inspired by Alex’s admiration for football, he can take quite a beating before going down. He does, however, see Alex’s unintended transformation as unfortunate, and thinks what he did to Jewel must have been extremely traumatizing for her to do that to him in return.

Knave the Weavile – Sneaky, guile, and deceptive, Knave never liked playing by the rules, and is definitely a Pokémon of political incorrectness. Unlike Sneaky the Serperior, Knave likes taking down his opponents quickly and swiftly. As a result, they don’t really work too well together.

Puff the Flygon – Puff is casual, easy going, and honestly doesn’t like to fight, but will if he has to. When fights arise, Puff is pretty laid back and never serious about it, often leading his adversaries to believe he’s arrogantly taunting them. He also helps Alex fly from place to place, but often needs persuading to get it done. Puff really likes chocolate chip cookies, so usually they do the trick when it comes to getting him to go somewhere.

Other: Alex has strong computer and technology skills, but he also has a knack for hacking, corrupting data, and doing things to technology that if machines were like living creatures, would be considered cruel and unusual punishment. He also has a large, anti-material sniper rifle he kept from his college days.

Name: Aur Morose

Gender: Male

Age: 36
Pokémon Forms, if any: Porygon-Z, Metagross, Ariados

Description: Probably the most significant physical result of Aur's transformation is that his lower body has been completely replaced with something resembling the body of a Metagross. As a result, where his legs used to meet his body is now a thick dark blue steel disk, ringed by four massive metal legs that end in a sharp point. Unlike a true Metagross, his lower body features are smooth and rounded rather than rough and faceted, possibly as a result of the roundness of the other two Pokemon of which he is a Chimera of outweighing this one feature. His upper body is mostly normal, bearing the muscular torso and arms of an athlete that had never dreamed he would become a scientist. A pair of additional limbs identical to the ones on his lower body protrude out from his upper back, making shirt-wearing a daily challenge. His head is rounded with a thick jaw, and he has a sharp nose with a well-defined mouth. Two small mandible-like structures line the inside his cheeks and are visible when he opens his mouth. His hair is cropped short and black, close to the skull, and his eyes bear a peculiar ring-within-a-ring pattern of black on purple.

Personality: As one might expect out of someone who decided to change the world regardless of its will, Aur displays a sense of hubris. Confident almost to the point of arrogance, he can often be seen with a haughty smirk on his face. Aur has no trouble believing in himself like so many of those other little heroes in fiction start out with (which he sees himself as similar to). This pride, however, is arguably justified, if not exactly kind. Even from a young age, Aur displayed an amazing degree of intelligence, the same brand of logical yet creative thinking that got him not only into the Xexan project but into its deepest depths in its early days, allowing him to become one of the driving forces behind the project, shaping it into his own vision of what Xexan should be.

Despite his haughtiness, Aur is not prone to fits of rage and prides himself on self-control. He takes setbacks and even defeats quite well for one with such a bubble of pride, knowing that there will always be another chance. And he is an opportunist; Aur enters any situation quietly, observing and learning about both the larger scheme and the smaller details before deciding to make a decision. Although he prefers not to take on responsibility, when others make it clear that they are incapable of leading Aur is more than happy to shove them aside and take power for himself. Other people often find Aur unsettling to meet. He gives off an air of justified superiority and a mind that knows more than others, and many people are left wondering what the man is scheming after meeting him. His true plans, only himself knows.

History: Aur was born in Castelia City, living most of his childhood in the housing projects on the north side of the city where the urban poor dwelt. His father had once been a highly successful businessman and his mother a doctor at the local hospital, but a series of poor investment choices ultimately led to several lawsuits and a malpractice case against his family that left them destitute. His father endlessly preached to him the virtues of the Morose family and how Aur was going to be even more magnificent than him. Consciously, Aur never put much stock in his father (after all, if he was all that they wouldn't be living on gruel waiting for the next paycheck), but all the encouragement must have made a mark. At school, Aur kept his family's past secret; bragging would only get him laughed at. Although he displayed a sharp mind with an aptitude for science and math, his real passion was for high-school wrestling and was made captain of his team. His high-school wrestling career never amounted to much, but it eventually did get him a small scholarship to help him pay for his arrival to Castelia University.

It was during his sophomore year in undergrad that Aur found his calling. He fell in love with the biomedical sciences during his introductory biology course and wanted to become a scientist in the field. There was no question of his mastery of the subject, and soon he was working for a notable professor in the field doing research into the similarities between human and Pokemon genetics. After graduation he continued to work in that research department at Castelia University, soon unofficially supplanting his professor who had secretly confided in him that he was "getting too old for this." Aur made key breakthroughs in utilizing Pokemon genetics to cure genetic diseases in humans through viral carriers, was published in scientific journals around the world, and soon was considered a renown expert in the field of human-Pokemon genetic engineering. His own Pokemon, given through donations to his research laboratory at the university, were acquired at this time, and he spent most of his free time raising them. Aur was often physically engaged in the training, helping to keep up his strong physique.

His expertise did not go unnoticed. Soon the newly-formed Xexan institute came recruiting. Although Aur did not initially want to accept the offer, Castelia University seemed indifferent to him leaving so he took it. Aur was a powerful personality within the young research laboratory, helping to mold its future and in fact was one of the major proponents of the idea that they should cut themselves off from the government altogether. He found the capability to have his research be released from ethical issues to be quite exhilarating and also, for the first time, found himself working with many other scientists as brilliant as himself, something that he had long since longed for.

When the time came to abandon the original Xexan laboratory, Aur had already transformed his body into its current form. Using his newfound computational powers, it was child's play to invest in the stock markets. After a few years he purchased a large stake in one of the major internet service providers and had it set up a home for him in an old underground server farm near Nacrene City.

Since then, he has created a network of mind-slaves using DNC-chips that are surgically installed in the brains of patients to do his bidding. Using this network, he managed to both procure and alter the Tempest Virus before giving it to Vickers, who had contacted him under the alias of "Mr. Shadow", as well as developing a counter-plague that would wipe out Tempest while turning the afflicted into Chimeras. However, before he was able to deploy the cure, an assassination attempt by Shadow that overloaded Aur's particle accelerator opened a portal to the Distortion World, sucking Aur and his Pokemon in, where he now is searching for a way home. And woe to the world when he does.

Powers: Enormous computational power and thinking speed, ability to directly interface with computers, ability to climb on walls and ceiling, extreme strength, ability to download himself into cyberspace.
Pokemon: Porygon-Z, Volcarona, and Galvantula (and soon to be Giratina)
Other: None

su #1 is done :)

Name: Nikolai Holmes
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Pokémon Forms: Gengar and Lucario Pokemorph

Description: Nikolai stands at six feet tall and weighs in at a mere 90lbs and looks like he can beat the living daylights out of anyone just by glaring at them. He has short cropped navy blue hair, deep set eyes and a piercing glare. His dark eyes are a deep blood red like that of a Gengars that gives him a look of a starving wolf. Nikolai has pitch black skin like that of a shadow, often making it hard to see his countenance, or any sort of defining marks on his body. His wardrobe is very plain and scruffy looking. He normally wears a pale white t-shirt and rough blue jeans that are ripped and torn. He loathes wearing any sort of close-toed shoes, preferring the openness of sandals. His body is what one would call ripped, if you could see it that is. Always training with his Pokemon more often than not physically, has stripped him of any fat. While he retained his human form, his body is devoid of any sort of defining features. The only things about him that you can actually see are his eyes and hair.

Personality: Nikolai is not one to back down on his word. Once he says he’s going to do something he does it, not matter what happens in between. Nikolai is also a kind caring person that is when he isn’t attempting to beat someone to a bloody pulp. He likes to fight and doesn’t take it well when one insults him his family, or his friends. He is fiercely loyal and devoted to his friends and family, which now only consists of his Pokemon. He is the type of person who would put his own life on the line to save his family and friends than see them hurt. Although he is opposed to Xexans way of doing things, he is loyal to them as they saved him from the Tempest Virus.

History: Nikolai was born in Viridian City in the Kanto Region. His father was a well known martial artist by then name of Tobias Holmes. Tobias trained Nikolai from as early as he could walk. There were three life changing events for Nikolai, the first happened when he was eight years old. Nikolai and his mother were on a late night run to the store. Thinking that he could protect her from just about anything, he felt safe with her as they went to buy some groceries. However what happened when they were in the checkout line would traumatize him for years to come.

A group of men came charging in shooting off their guns randomly. They were drunk and on some sort of drug, but there had been some casualties. Some of the few people that were in the store were shot, and his mother had bent down to protect Nikolai, but she had got shot right in the head. At first he wasn’t sure what to make of it, as the men had left as quickly as they had come. He was in shock, traumatized by what he had just witnessed. Although he was in shock, his father was enraged. Tobias eventually found out who had murdered his wife and went berserk. He went into their hideout on the outskirts of the Viridian forest and by himself took out the entire gang.

Being calmed by his revenge, Tobias took up the mantle and raised Nikolai by himself to be the best martial artist there was. They were in the middle of one of their wilderness trainings when the second event happened. While it had been four years since his mother had died, he had never gotten over it, not until he found a lone Riolu trapped in a poacher’s net. It was still young only had just hatched, though unknown to him. It was then that he realized he couldn’t dwell on the past forever, if he wanted to live the best way he could, he had to keep his mind on the present, and he would not let another take his mothers place if he could help it. He released the Riolu and finding, much to his astonishment that some sort of bond had formed between the two. Perhaps it was that their auras had a perfect match, but whatever it was, the two became inseparable the moment they met. Finding himself delighted at the new change that had come over his son, Tobias felt that it was time to let him go on his own Pokemon journey. As the two grew, Riolu learned as much from Nikolai as Nikolai learned from Riolu. On his journey he met many people and Pokemon, one of the Pokemon he met was his second partner, a Ghastly with a fondness for pulling practical jokes on the unwary. Through their adventures, and growing bonds, Riolu had eventually evolved into a Lucario and Ghastly into a Haunter, then a Gengar. The bond between those three were greater than any that had ever become before. Nikolai had been the happiest he had been in years. After five years of his travels, Nikolai decided to head back home, only to find that it looked like it had been abandoned. Unsure what to make of this, he questioned around about what had happened. He had found out that his father had been somehow over powered and taken by an organization that called themselves Siphon.

Going on what few pieces of information that he had, he went to Unova, the one place that they were said to have come from. He searched in vain, not much was known about Siphon at the time, not until eight years later when they came out in the open and released the Tempest Virus on Unova. This was when the third event happened to change his life. He became infected by the virus. He was found by a group of scientists who had claimed that they had a cure to Tempest, but what he found when he went with them had disturbed him greatly. These were no mere men, they were mutants, however while some had grotesque forms, others were more sublime and even what one would call beautiful. They explained that they were from a group called Xexan, and that they wanted to help mankind in any way possible. When they explained what would happen when they turned him into one of them, he immediately rejected the idea. He would never willingly choose to sacrifice any living being to save his own, especially not his only family that he had left.

However it was not Nikolai who made the decision, but it was his two most trusted Pokemon, Lucario and Gengar. They knew what he had sacrificed to save them, now it was their turn. They would rather die than see their master and friend be in as much pain as he was. They convinced him to go through with the operation. And when it was complete, he felt hollow inside. A wave of sadness washed over him at the thought that he would never be able to see his two most trusted companions ever again. It was then that he swore to himself that he would protect Xexan for the sake of his companions. While it was clear for him to protect Xexan with his life, as his partners did for him, he still had another goal in mind. He needed to find his father.

When Siphon had come out in the open and introduced their ‘cure’ to Unova, Nikolai found it even more abhorrent than what Xexan were doing. Siphon was making mindless slaves. Their cyborgs were nothing more than an empty shell of what the original human was. He needed to find his father fast, and prayed to Arceus that whatever had happened, that Tobias was not turned into one of those mindless slaves. Nikolai is still searching for Tobias.

Powers: Being both a fighting type and ghost type pokemorph has given him the ability to solidify and dissolve his physical body at will. He has almost complete mastery of aura thanks to Lucarios ability and can move in the shadows like that of Gengars. Also being part ghost physical attacks do little to no harm to him, and he can slip through most solid objects, unless of course there’s barrier or something up that prevents ghosts from doing that sort of thing…

Pokémon: Froslass Spiritomb Poliwrath Hydredgion

Other: <Any miscellaneous details not included above, such as skills, traits, equipment, and so on.>

I'll get Tobias up sometime tomorrow or friday.... i hope....:D
