If You Were In Charge Of The Anime

Let just say this.....The Unova Saga will be a lot different.

Team Rocket would be the same in someways to past arcs, somewhat a bit more serious.

Team Plasma will be much more noticeable (AKA More active).

Of course the first main thing to edit is Ash will evolve all his Pokemon and don't catch the weaklings.
And make it more rational: Pikachu won't win against any Pokemon. This is irritating. >.<

To tell the truth. I would have made it to where Ash was just on his way to the third gym or at least in Castelia City seeing the sights.

The anime writers really rushed in the pacing in getting Ash three badges. Proof of this is all this 'filler' that we are currently getting with the Don Battle Arc and the episodes that follow it. It would have been better to have Ash take his time. Better for the pacing and better to keep the number of filler episodes down. Lessen the chances of having 'Johto Freakin Journeys'.

A Musketeer Trio movie is something I so want but at the same time I would love to see them incorporate them within the series similar to what I think they are doing with a certain ice dragon.

I still wish they put in more filler episodes regarding Castelia City because that was one of the main attractions in the games. And they should seriously incorporate the Team Plasma episodes soon or else viewers just might still be wondering why Jessie and James got the demotion, in addition to the glaring cliffhanger from the Venipede episode.

Ten times agree with you there! Castelia City had tons of things that could have been good quality filler episodes! We could have had a Victini episode or something there.

The writers are seriously dropping the ball with Team Plasma. So many episodes could be made featuring them. The biggest ball drop is making us wait for that two parter. Still I wonder how many future episodes depended on Team Plasma that had to be tabled because they didn't show those two episodes.

Agreed, Megiddo. Then there would be no more Ash or Pikachu, and get more chars...ones better than Ash or ANY of his sidekicks.

Hm... This just stuck out because of Winters name, but if I was in charge I would try not to let the show follow a trend. The trend it has been following lately or ever since, maybe, the end of season 2 is: Ash and friends walk, they encounter a person, team rocket shows up, Ash kicks butt and saves pikachu, everyone laughs and smiles, walk off into sunset.

Now there are exceptions to this but that is the way a Pokemon plot goes and I would try changing that. To what, I'm not sure.
