The fighting type pokemon was quickly growing impatient; how long would it take to capture a bug? Luckily for him, his trainer seemed to agree. Her ranger handed her a pokeball, printed with the Safari logo at the front. She accepted it gratiously, then whipped around and chucked it at her opponent. He was sucked in, leaving the ball shaking. Once, twice....

and it clicks shut. You caught a Burmy!

Akaismo moved first, using a move that he was quite familiar with. He stopped his spinning, choosing to stand on his feet for once. Bending his knees, he leapt high in the air, the horn on his head barely scraping the top of the canopy. Turtwig looked up, not exactly sure what his opponent was planning. With a single turn, he angled his rather bony knee toward the grass pokemon, letting himself fall. He hit his target dead on, feeling quite satisfied at his yelp of pain. Although it had hit his hard shell, Akaismo could tell it seriously hurt his foe. This was going to be fun.

Turtwig’s move was a perfect choice to replenish himself after that brutal blow. The sprout on his head began to glow a forest green as he concentrated, energy coursing through his veins. Suddenly, two giant tendrils of green light came from his body, grasping Akaismo. His energy began to drain as the beams took his powers, sapping them into the turtle pokemon. He laughed quietly; even if his opponent was stronger, he would be able to fight back as well…

Your ranger quickly fiddles around in their bag till they dig out what seems to be a mix between a GPS and a Phone. They stare at it for quite a while, and then frown.
“Hrrmm… A text from the Headquarters. We seem to be remodeling soon. So for you that means that your adventure will end sometime soon. But don’t worry; it says here that you’re going to be receiving reimbursement for your leftover safari points. You will also be able to keep all the pokemon that you have captured so far.”

They close their phone and toss it back into their bag. “Sorry about this, but hopefully you’ll enjoy the new improved Zone. What am I doing rambling, we should try to finish this adventure before we close!”

Akasimo smirked as he went back on the offensive, his knees bending for another assault. On a whim, he flipped over as he jumped, flying upside down as he was accustomed. He bent his leg back for another brutal kick, but unfortunately his whim turned against him before he could connect. In the middle of his flight, his pulled back leg hooked on a wayward tree branch that had gone unnoticed by him. This sent him completely off course and off-balance, and instead of kicking Turtwig, he went face first into a tree, sliding down it to land pointy-head down in the grass. Turtwig stared at this display, uncertain of what devious tactics his opponent was using on him, but then shrugged when it became apparent that nothing more was coming of it, and with no fanfare whatsoever ran forward and dive-tackled into Akasimo’s dazed body, driving him into the tree once more.
