Re: Gmandiddy vs. Mangetic Zero
Hmm...The Dark-Type thing is going to give us a bit of trouble. Let's see if we can keep it from hitting us. Give me an Aerial Ace followed by Double Team!

Re: Gmandiddy vs. Mangetic Zero
I collapsed on the sandy beach, having trekked through the dangerous forest for a week. It culminated in a thin sandy beach, overlooking a large lake. The sides of the beach were lined with random pieces of driftwood, which didn’t really make much sense at all considering the lake didn’t lead to anywhere. Shrugging, I wiped the sweat off my brow (Jesus, it was hot!) and prayed that my black-and-white checkered shirt wasn’t too pit-stained. With the whistle in my mouth and the two flags in my hands, the two Pokemon were realized. On one side, a ghostly maiden appeared, ready to fight. On the other side, a yellow crocodile emerged; this was going to be a quite interesting battle.
ROUND ONE
Magnetic_Zero

[-]Misdreavus ♀
Ability: Levitate
Health: 100%
Energy: 100%
Moves: Aerial Ace~Double Team
Gmandiddy

[Master Snap] Sandile (F)
Ability: Moxie
Health: 100%
Energy: 100%
Moves: Payback~Rock Tomb
The little ghost pokemon moved first, using a move that didn’t come easily to her. Her ability of levitation let her float in the air, and as she fell she was engulfed in a white field of energy. With a fast strike, she rammed into her opponent, who yelped in pain. Master Snap was a bit discouraged; that had actually hurt pretty badly! She knew that if she wanted to win, she would really have to step it up.
(-9% Health, -7% Energy)
Master Snap was ready to get her revenge. She knew that her attack would cause major damage; by making her opponent go first, she doubled the power of her attack. With a flex of her little arms, a ring of energy began to form around her body. It grew, radiating purple energy. At the flick of her tiny wrists, she began to throw the ring at her opponent. Misdreavus whimpered; she knew that this move was seriously going to hurt. The ring of light hit her straight on; the super effective powers of the move actually severely hurt.
(-21% Health, -16% Energy)
Misdreavus’s next move would provide much help for her. Now that she knew her opponent had the power to cause serious damage, she would need a way to hide from the evil attacks. Moving side to side quickly, she received an aura of white light as her image flickered, creating not one, not two, but three copies of herself. Although they would disappear after just one move, they would provide excellent cover for her. It would be way harder to hurt her now!
(-6% Energy, 3 clones.)
Master Snap was just a bit confused about her opponent’s new move. There were so many copies of her now! Nevertheless, she began her move again. Digging into the sides of the cliff, she unearthed several large boulders and threw them at her opponent. Although she hit Misdreavus head on, her body simply left in a puff of smoke. It turns out to just be a clone!
(-1 clone, -10% Energy)
ROUND END
Magnetic_Zero

[-]Misdreavus ♀
Ability: Levitate
Health: 79%
Energy: 87%
Mood: Doubting herself…
Gmandiddy

[Master Snap] Sandile (F)
Ability: Moxie
Health: 91%
Energy: 74%
Mood: Tired but happy.
Referee Notes
Aerial Ace’s roll was 73, with whatever it was hitting.
Payback’s accuracy roll was 31, with 1-100 hitting.
Double Team=85/36=2.3, round up to 3 clones.
Rock Tomb’s accuracy roll was 80, with 1-80 hitting.
Arena roll was 91, with 1-25 raining.
Magnetic_Zero, moves please~

Re: Gmandiddy vs. Mangetic Zero
Oof...Okay, then. Let's try to target the Ground aspect of this one. Go in for an Icy Wind! Then another Aerial Ace! If it uses Payback again, use Protect.

gmandiddy

[Master Snap] Sandile (F)

Condition: Tired but happy
Moves: Crunch ~ Assurance
White energy began to fill Misdreavus’s mouth as she prepared her next attack. The lake beneath the ghost began to freeze over as the temperature plummeted. After taking a deep breath, she exhaled, sending a blast of icy air across the water. They rammed into Master Snap, rolling her over onto her back. The crocodile struggled for a while so that she could put herself back onto her feet. She looked at her opponent and her clones, who were hovering over the lake. All of them wore the same smug look on their face; Misdreavus was confident in her defences. Master Snap looked from ghost to ghost, trying to find a way to tell them apart – she had to get the right one.
She ran through the shallows of the water towards the three witches. Leaping high into the air, he clamped his teeth down on one of them, taking them back down to the water with him. As they fell, the remaining Misdreavus vanished into thin air. There was a splash as they hit the water, going under and sinking fast. Master Snap bit down hard on Misdreavus’s soft body before tossing her away and swimming back to the shore. The ghost watched her go. She was shocked that the Sandile had managed to hit her despite the cover provided by her clones, so much so that she dropped her guard a little.
Nevertheless, she had to keep fighting if she wanted to win this. She took her place hovering over the waters again, watching the crocodile on the shore carefully. White energy surrounded her as she began to rush towards the sand. Master Snap tried to move out of the way but was far too slow to dodge the lightning-quick spectre. She was knocked over, rolling in the sand, but was quickly back on her feet and ready to attack.
The tips of the Sandile’s claws began to glow as she jumped up to smash down the fleeing Misdreavus. Once she had pinned her down to the ground, she began to claw at the wounds made by her teeth during her previous attack. Misdreavus screamed in pain as the claws struck her. Master Snap didn’t relent, however, and continued to hit the crying ghost with her strong, black claws. When she did eventually move away, Misdreavus was curled up in a ball, motionless. A few seconds passed, and Master Snap began to wonder whether he had beaten her. But then the ghost stirred and lifted her head. She slowly began to get back up, levitating over the sand calmly; she was in pain now and wanted revenge. This was about to get intense.

Misdreavus was weak, and getting weaker by the second. She went on the defensive, hoping to make up some lost HP. She closed her eyes and begin to decend onto the sandy beach, quickly drifting into a heavy sleep. Her wounds began to slowly heal as she fell deeper into her slumber.
Sandile however, had no intentions of going on the defensive, and rather, began to run towards Misdreavus at a manic pace. Once again, its fangs were laced with a dark energy and it jumped, sinking its claws into the sleeping Misdreavus. The sleeping ghost did not react much to the strike, and Sandile quickly withdrew, resting from its vicious strike.
Misdreavus, while not awake, was still subconciously operating. Following its Trainer's commands, Misdreavus' snoring quickly grew louder and louder, reaching ear splitting levels. Both trainers covered their ears as the sound waves damaged Sandile - who, due to its body strcutre, could not cover its ears to block the sound.
Once the sonic snore had died down, Sandile decided to finally put an end to the annoying Ghost-type Pokémon. It charged up for yet another Crunch, and pounced on Misdreavus with its sharp jaws. Misdreavus quickly woke up and cried out before fainting yet again - this time, for good.
