What is the Gym Arena?
The gym is a large room with its floor covered in black tiles that are about 2 square feet. The walls and ceiling are covered with tiles the same size as the floor's, but are grey, and they let off a dull light like a computer screen. The gym leader is the purple team and the challenger is the green team. Every time a pokemon steps on a tile, it glows its teams color until it leaves the space when it turn back to black. But if a pokemon from the opposite team steps on that tile, it can cause something to happen to that pokemon. The room also is not stabilized. By some odd magnetization the cube-room floats freely inside of the building it is contained. So that means, if a pokemon slammed against the left side, or if too much weight is put on the left side, the whole room will start to tip to the left; the room could potentially roll all the way over. In this same way the room could roll or even flip however it wanted, if a trainer so happened to want their pokemon to flip the room.
Command: Sometime along the lines of this. It has to make sense though. A Jumpluff won't be flipping the room using its weight.
A pokemon must be 50 lbs. heavier than its opponent in order to flip the stadium. This can be overridden in any way if some creativity, which is logical (like a certain attack), is used.
Energy for a room flip is chosen by the ref.
Aggron, jump up into the air, then land hard to try and flip the arena upside down to mess up his aim, then attack with earthquake.
Room Flip ~ Earthquake
Math:
What are, if any, the requirements to challenge your Gym?
Nope
|
The Leader will now select his Pokemon.
The challenger will then select her first Pokemon and her action commands.
The Leader will then select his action commands.

Re: Challenger [White Knight] vs. Shocking! Gym Leader [Dino]

[Blitz] Blaziken (M)
Ability: Speed Boost
Sig Move: None
Go for a Flame Charge, then use Flamethrower. If he protects at any time, use Hone Claws. If he protects then Taunts, or does something to prevent your Hone Claws, try an Aerial Ace. Oh, and if any Reflect/Light Screens are made at any time use Brick Break.

Re: Challenger [White Knight] vs. Shocking! Gym Leader [Dino]
The two pokémon stood facing each other on the black-tiled floor. One was a red spider, who had yellow legs and a glinting horn on her forehead. The other was a red chicken, who stood upright on two yellow feet; his claws were curled up into fists as he watched his opponent, trying to estimate her first move. There were also two trainers in the room, who were ready to give orders to each pokémon. For the Ariados, there was Dino, the Gym Leader, while White Knight stood proudly behind his Blaziken. The two trainers nodded to each other and the referee blew on his whistle; the battle was about to begin and all the waiting up until now had just whetted the trainers’ appetites – this was going to be good.
Round One
Leader Dino

HP: 100%
Energy: 100%

[Blitz] Blaziken (M)
HP: 100%
Energy: 100%
Condition: Ready to break something
Moves: Flame Charge/ Brick Break/Hone Claws/Aerial Ace ~ Flamethrower/ Brick Break/Aerial Ace/Hone Claws
Blitz started off the match with an incredible display of speed and power. Flames sprung up around his body and he bolted towards Aranea. The spider was helpless as the fiery chicken sprung forwards; she was nowhere near fast enough to get out of the way. Blitz smashed into her and the two of them went rolling across the floor. Aranea managed to kick the chicken off and he moved a little way away to stop his opponent from countering too easily - not that he had anything to worry about.
When the Ariados didn’t react, Blaze simply went into his next attack. Fire welled up and spewed from his mouth, bathing the arena in flames. However, he hadn’t factored in that his opponent had been waiting for this. The arachnid shot upwards into the air, catching the ceiling with her feet, and Blitz was unable to stop her of redirect the blazing torrent of fire that had erupted from his mouth. The attack had been wasted, but Aranea had been kept on her toes trying to dodge it.
Aranea dropped back down to the ground quickly after the flames had gone away. She then immediately began her next move, which consisted of a strange and elaborate dance involving as many complicated moves as possible. By the time it was over, she could feel her muscles swelling and knew that the dance had made her stronger – now she was ready for the main event. However, she had accidentally stepped on a green tile during the battle and suddenly felt something which felt like poison course through her body. She felt dizzy for a moment, but it was only temporary and she was soon back to normal and ready to get back to business. Meanwhile, Blitz felt energy surge through his body as his speed and agility increased quickly – his ability change was beginning to pay off.

Re: Challenger [White Knight] vs. Shocking! Gym Leader [Dino]
Cut Ariados's String Shot with a Fire Pledge, then hit his Body Slam with a Flare Blitz!

Challenger White Knight

[Blitz] Blaziken (M)

Aranea knew that she wouldn’t be able to tolerate much from her opponent so she came up with a clever plan to avoid being hit by him. She produced a line of strong, thin spider-thread and shot it at the tiled ceiling. It stuck fast, and the Ariados quickly used it to climb up and get out of range, so that she couldn’t be hit by Blitz’s devastating fire-type attacks. She clung tightly to the thread of rope, dangling above her foe like a pendulum. Hopefully, this would be enough to protect her for the time being.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t. Blitz had made it seem like he was letting her get away when he was in fact merely giving her false hope. He jumped against a grey tiled wall and fired a column of searing flame, which severed the thread holding the spider up with ease. Aranea was suddenly falling, her weight pulling her back down to the ground; this wasn’t what she had planned.
And it didn’t end there. Blitz summoned up an aura of burning flames, similar to the one he had used earlier in the battle. Aranea noticed that this one was different though. It burned much more brightly than the last and it seemed, from the look on Blitz’s face, that it was hurting its user to some extent. She didn’t have time to dwell on it though, because fiery chicken had jumped again, and was speeding towards her at a tremendous rate. She closed her eyes, knowing that the impact was inevitable – she had no way of evading him in midair. The bird crashed into her underside and she screamed in agony; not only was there the force of the Blaziken’s jump, there were the intense flames which had enveloped his body. The flames vanished as quickly as they had appeared, and now the two pokémon were falling together.
Now Blitz was at Aranea’s mercy, but she wasn’t going to show him any. Holding the Blaziken beneath her wounded body with her legs, the Ariados plummeted downwards. She planned to use his body as a crumple zone to absorb the force of the landing. As they collided with the ground, Blitz had no choice but to be ground into the tile below by the body of the falling spider. The tile beneath the two pokémon lit up purple, and, before he knew what was going on, a weak electric charge was running through Blitz’s body. The bird yelped and pushed his opponent’s body off of his chest. A shuddering breath escaped his lungs; he was hurt, but not as badly as his opponent. Aranea was taking slow, deep breaths to get over the shock of the pain. Luckily, there was no lasting damage, but it was still causing an excruciating sting. And the battle was about to get even more annoying for her, since Blitz’s legs had grown even stronger due to his earlier acrobatics. The spider wasn’t feeling too pleased about her chances of winning this anymore.
