Gloom noticed the exhuasted Gulpin, gasping for breath. It took advantage of its exhuastion and ran to attack. It lept straight at its opponent, the tired Impulse, and used its body to crash into it. Impulse staggered backward. (-11 energy Gloom) (-10hp Impulse)

Impulse looked at Gloom and decided to take a little rest. It laid back and looked up at the sky and watched the clouds go by. The clouds looked like cotton candy. It smiled as the rest energized it a little. (Impulse +6 energy)

While Impulse laid where it was, Gloom balls its fist and ran to its opponent who was laying and watching the clouds. Gloom slammed its fist into Impulse, causing him to roll around on the ground. Impulse felt a little drained. Gloom smiled feeling itself feel a little more energized itself. (Gloom -12 energy) ( Impulse -6 hp-3 energy) (Gloom +3 hp+1 energy)

Impulse felt angry for having its rest interrupted. Once again, it laid back and just looked up at all the clouds going by. It invisioned itself winning this battle. But it sure wouldn't be easy. It had to start thinking better. (Impulse +6 energy)

Sorry about that! But use Facade and since you'll be asleep by the next action, go for Snore. However, if by some weird chance you aren't, then use Round.

Round Five

Gloom immediately began to act. His body began to glow with a crackling, pale-orange aura that resembled electricity. He rushed forward, running right at his squishy foe. He slammed into Impulse with all the force he could possibly muster. However, this was rather worthless: it was very tiring for Gloom, while Impulse barely felt a thing.
[Facade: Gloom, -11% Energy; Impulse, -10% HP]

Just to advertise how over Gloom's antics he was, Impulse yawned loudly. The yawn formed a large, puffy cloud that smelled like warm milk. The cloud enfolded Gloom in a sleepy haze. Gloom managed to shake it off, but he felt very drowsy. He was liable to drop at any moment.
[Yawn: Impulse, -2% Energy]

Gloom wanted to so at least a bit more damage to Impulse before naptime. He opened his mouth and began to sing again, loudly and badly, causing great silver waves to fly from his mouth and strike Impulse. The Gulpin was not apt to handle such bad singing, and it hurt him physically just to hear it.
[Round: Gloom, -9% Energy; Impulse, -10% HP]

Impulse wanted to avenge himself and so he did. He lifted a stubby fist, which lit on fire as though someone had put a match to oil. Impulse rushed at Gloom and clocked him with the flaming appendage. Gloom fell to the ground, his cheek smarting from the flames. He continued to lie there, snoring. Sleep had taken him.
[Fire Punch: Gloom, 13% HP; Impulse, -16% Energy]

M'kay. Use Snore throughout the entire round, unless you wake up. Then I want you to use Seed Bomb.

The battle was almost over; everyone could see that by now. The real question was who would come out on top at the end. While Impulse’s energy levels were dangerously low, Gloom was fast asleep and there was no way of telling when he would wake up. This would certainly end as well as it had begun.

Gloom began the round by emitting a tremendous snore, which sent shockwaves through the air. Gulpin shuddered as the waves hit him. The attack was fairly powerful, enough to turn the poison-type it was aimed at into a shivering wreck. However, it wasn’t enough to finish him off so the battle went on.

Impulse, as his counterattack, did nothing. He sat, quivering as he recalled his opponent’s last move and the damage it had done. Even if his trainer had asked him to do something, he wouldn’t have been able to.

He continued to do nothing for a little while after he recovered from the last attack. He didn’t have the energy to put up a fight any more; he just had to hope that Gloom ran out of his own quickly.

However, the toxic-plant seemed to still have enough to last for now. Another shockwave-making snore erupted from his mouth. Impulse trembled as the waves blasted him, but he seemed to have gotten any fear of them out of his system. He stood his ground against the attack and was still standing after it. However, it wouldn’t take very much at all to finish him now – this would be over soon.
