Yeah, it's this way for me too. I couldn't get on at all earlier as well. It does seem to be better than it was before, though.

Yeah, it's still lagging on and off and for me as well, ranging from just loading slowly to notwanting to load at all. I agree that it seems to be doing better, though.

Yeah, I had lag about two or so hours ago and it went for a while.

Someone mentioned to me that username changes used to affect a forum he was on, and it would make it lag. I don't think there are many username changes happening recently (if any at all), but he also asked if the amount of users would affect the server's lag. I told him I didn't think it did, especially since we used to have many more members before pruning, but for members such as spam bots, wouldn't it be sensible to delete them rather than just ban them? Or will it not make a difference? o:

I'm getting loads of lag doing pretty much anything at any time on the forum (Posting, browsing, editting, etc). I'm using Firefox and I'm getting the generic error message by them saying that the site/server isn't responding and all that. I'm on a fairly new Lenovo laptop and every other site I go to is fine so I don't think it's my computer.

Database errors or requests time out.

Copy and paste it here - same exact problems. I was on this since...6:00 PM. It only just now started to stop lagging (11:15 PM or so). This is getting ridiculous, honestly.

It would make a difference if it is a database problem (I think it is, but I dunno). If it is simply server shorts, then it would have to do with something taking up the server's bandwidth. /:|

Okay, Ryan's going to take a closer look into it tomorrow to see what's going on. Hopefully we can figure this out, but no guarantees.

Back at TCoD we had major issues with time lag because of some threads being overlong. Weeding out threads larger than 1K helped a lot. Not sure if there is that issue here though.

I've been having bad problems loading stuff all day today. Maybe it was because work was being done, but I couldn't get a solid connection for like 6 hours straight today.

For me it either loads super fast or slows down to a crawl before getting stuck. Feels kind of like flipping a coin!

Most of yesterday and last night, I could barely get the site to load, but that might have been due to maintenance, but I have yet to have any problems since I got on about ten minutes ago.
