Default The Ultimate Mapping Project/Gallery

Hello. To all of you who dont know me, I'm Animated Monkey, or AM. I used to be a very active spriter here, and I'm really good. This place has changed a lot, (Mawile Rocks Shop was still open) and i dont know most of the people who are active now. This thread is going to be a gallery/ project sort of thing, where i show some of my scratch sprites and maps. I will also post other peoples custom maps, and offer advice if you ask. (Note- I will only show the really good maps , in the form of a top 3 maps and map of the month area.)

You are a pretty good spriter. I love that Porygon/Croconaw Fusion. I would have never been able to make that!

The grid on the maps makes it pretty hard to offer much criticism. What I will say though, is that you need to use the shaded version of the trees where it should be shaded, to make it blend better.
You need more flowers too, and place them like this:
FX
XF
Where F is a flower and X is whatever else.
In a few cases, such as on the grass with the line of mountain on top of it (looks like this:
MM
GG
Grass is G and mountain is M), you have used it incorrectly, as there should still be a litle but of mountain behind it so it joins to the other part of the mountain (this may just be a fault on my behalf though, due to the grid making it confusing).
Also try to make things a little less square, for instance that pond. Oh and you need to credit whoever made those mountain and rock tiles.

Anyway, hope this helps, I'm terrible at explaining stuff. :\
Oh and there isn't really anyone active any more lol...

Some Crocnaw splices are pretty awesome (Bannette), and some not so much (Psyduck). Lol under Milotic/Crocnaw it says Mossadeep, what is that?

Your tadpole scratches are beast, rest of scratches look meh. I really like the top dragonite devamp and the Missingno. styled pokemon!

And lastly, is this a shop or a gallery?
