Unlimited Time in Safari Zone??

There are supposedly two different ways to get unlimited time in the Safaria Zone

1) Bring a Pokemon that knows Sweet Scent and use it over and over again. You can attract as many Pokemon as you want without wasting steps. Examples are Glood, Tropius, Bellsprout

2)If you have the Acro Bike equipped, get on it while you're in the Safari zone. If you hop up and down in one spot of grass, you can run into Pokemon without using up steps

Thoughts ?? do these both work ?

I've never tried the Acro Bike one, but the Sweet Scent one seems plausible. My trick for getting unlimited time in the Safari Zone is standing in one spot and spinning around without actually taking a step. You can still run into Pokemon. I've been doing it since Red and Blue haha.

I've never heard of either of those, but it sounds like something interesting to try.

I might try the Sweet Scent idea! The Acro Bike one also sounds interesting, although I'm sure the hops count as steps. Maybe not though!

I'm pretty sure that sweet scent works in LeafGreen, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't anywhere else. Acro bike... No clue.

I really need to start the game up again to find out. Ive looked into the sweet scent before but even with that, I had to move to different areas to get access to different pokemon.

I have always done what Sarah has done, but I do know the Acro Bike also works, as well as sweet scent. No a terribly big fan of sweet scent though. Took to long.
