Ive only been a girl trainer once in all of the games. I dont know why its for me to pick a female character. My roommate only picks female heroes to play as.

I started playing as the girl after Gold/Silver because I was finally able to after they added the option. It made me happy to finally play my own gender so, I always play as the girl.

I decide to play whichever character I prefer, but typically I end up choosing the guy anyways!

I always pick girl because it's more comfortable to play as someone of my own gender. Besides, I've never liked the boys much anyway...

In every game that makes me choose, I always choose boy. I feel wierd roaming around as a female, mainly because I take on the persona of the character in-game when i play.

Oddly enough when i battle trainers i tend to imagine Yugi's voiceover (Adult Yugi)

I always play as a guy, due to the fact that if my friend finds my game, it could lead to awkward questions like "Why are you playing as the girl?" XD
EDIT: Though I do dislike the look of the guy. I would attempt to put in my own sprites, but last time I did that, I messed up my DS. Now there are black marks across the top screen XD

I usually go with the girl (except in Platinum), but I really liked the male's character design (DAT HAIR) x3

OMG IKR. I always thought Bugsy was a girl, and since I thought there were 4 girl and 4 boy leaders, I'd match them up, so apparently Falkner and Bugsy were partners until I learned his gender.

LoL, that reminds me of when I first played Silver--I honestly thought that the rival was a girl... so I named him after my sister xD
