Does this work in Crystal english??

How to catch Celebi in Crystal poké-game!

Nope, that's only in the Japanese version of the game.

Correction, it's a variation of the Japanese version. In the Japanese version of Crystal, Goldenrod was blessed with the PCC, or Pokemon Communication Center. If one were to use a Mobile Adapter, then one would gain the ability to earn the GS ball after collecting 16 badges from the Nurse of the PCC. As the Mobile Adapter was not released in other countries (Or at least not the UK or America) the PCC was replaced with a normal Pokemon Center, and Celebi became an event exclusive.

There is no other way to legally obtain Celebi in the English games, so you shouldn't much worry about it.

I think they excluded Celebi because the games always come out in Japan first (along with the Pokemon, movies, etc.) and with Celebi being a new character and not yet being introduced to Americans, they probably excluded Celebi because they didn't want this to happen...

You come back from the store, lighthearted that you finally got your Crystal Version. You turn it on... It all starts....

A few days/weeks/months/etc later you've accomplished the game and your heading around Kanto and Johto to fill up that PokeDex of yours. You're in Ilex Forest and a strange little forest sprite looking thingie pops up out of nowhere! WTF!? You think it's a glitch so therefore you reset....

Please don't ask where I got that example from, I have a very strange imagination...

SS: I completely agree. The events never come by england or anything. Therefore, I miss catching my favorite pokemon. The hell I'm buying a ticket to go to the pokemon center and use the mystery gift thing with some camp guy in a green hat.

You can get Celebi seven ways:

1. Go to Japan and buy Pokemon Crystal
2. Go to Japan and find a Pokemon Colleseum pre-sale bonus disk(you'll get Mew in the package!!)
3. Wait until nintendo has a heart
4. Use a GameShark
5. Use an AR
6. Go to a special promotion
7. Win a Pokemon contest

Upon visiting www.pokemon.com, I believe they only hand out Celebis to those with a R/S/E, Fr/Lg cartridge. Not sure if they're still doing the S/G/C...

I've already recieved mine.
