Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Themed DS Lite!
-09/01/06-

Here's the Pokemon Diamond/Pearl themed DS Lite! It will be released in Japan on the same date as Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, on September 28, 2006. The Diamond/Pearl themed DS Lite features a metallic black color, with Diaruga and Parukia (the two Diamond/Pearl legendaries) on the DS Lite. It will be available exclusively at Pokemon Center stores in Japan.

There's currently no word on a US release.

Okay now, this looks good. If it doesn't cost too much, I might import it. It looks like it'd be limited edition though.

That looks cool. I hope it makes it to the U.S.. Do you guys/girls think that if you buy the DS lite from Japan, will it able to play English games?

Yea you can. Nintendo DS is region free, meaning, all the Nintendo DS will play any game in any language. So if you get a DS Lite from Japan, you can still play English DS games.

Oh wait wait, the article failed to mention that this DS is limited to Pokemon Center Japan. Damn, this may make importing a little more difficult.

I hope it arrives to america so I dont have to spend more money importing and stuff. Still it looks sweet and would be great but no telling if and when it arrives.
