No. You can only tranfer pokes from special missions.

Ranger seems to me like a spin off of those protected areas in the anime where Ash was never allowed to capture pokemon :P

im going to get this game definately, my brother wants to get blue rescue team (and i don't really want to get red because its for GB advance. Ranger will last me until i get diamond/pearl.

I live in Japan so I bought the game which was A big mistake I am warning you now dont buy the game unless you want Manaphi on diamond and pearl.
