Help! I'm Battleing Mewtwo Right Now! Any Tips!?

Well, If you have tons of ultra balls. And you earlier catched Zapdos, you may be able to catch Mewtwo. I don't think you have a ver high pokemon who can put Mewtwo to sleep, so paralize migh work as well. Just use thunder wave on it... then use evertything you have to put it hp to red. And start throwing ultra balls like a mad man ^^U. If you have a ruby/sapphire game you mught try to use a timer ball as well.

I paralyzed Zaptos and Articune and caught them both with Ultras after 15-20 tosses. Getting them to the red is tricky, as will getting Mew Two to the red. Best bet is to have a Pokemon with False Swipe and take it to 1 HP left, paralyze, then toss one Ultra Ball after another. One of them will lock. I caught Rayquaza after 12 Ultras and paralyzing it, what luck that was!

XD... I caught rayquaza while he was in the yellow with an Ultraball in one turn on the way home from MAgic Mountain... lol. I don't know who I want to use my Masterball on... I am just gonna go for Mew2 with Ultraballs...

This is kind of a variation of False Swipe but not exactly. I find it easier to catch Legendaries and low level Pkmn with a Raticate that knows Super Fang. You can't kill them that way and after about 3+ times you can start trying to catch.

Questions:
1. What is this "big feat" you have to do besides beating the Elite 4 to enter Unknown Dungeon to get to Mewtwo?
2. How do you get the Dog that is the opposite of your starter to start appearing?

As far as I know, slp is the best status condition to afflict, tied with FRZ, but you can't very well just CHOOSE to freeze something...

Also, did you get lucky and get a Modest Mewtwo?

Just use a sleep attack, get it's health down to orange/red then start chucking ultra balls like a madman

I'm actually gonna do that by having an empy space in my party when I finally figure out how to get in there and then I'll use my Master Ball on him and check the Personality. If it's not Modest, I'll reset and try again.

ML, what do you mean at any time. There's no special condition at all? Maybe I should just forget it and trade over all my Dogs from Colloseum. They're "rotting" in there anyway. does it matter if they got like 20 EVs or something during battles ofr Purification? I was gonna actually use my "Random Appearance finding trick" that worked so well for Gold, Crystal and Ruby. Should I try to find Suicine now?

My trick is this: Go and use Max repel in every grassy area in order as if you're playing a new game. Check it until the Max Repel runs out. If it doesn't work, the Random Appearing Pkmn isn't there. Do that for every grassy area in order of accessibilyas you play the game (some HMs are required to get to some grassy areas so get bask to those after you "get" the one requred to get to the grassy area in question) and you will eventually find all 3 Dogs or Latios/as. I got my Latos near the Tomb west of Lillycove, for example. That's one of the last grassy areas in the game, but I got him .

why bother doing that when you can just get it from a cheat or colloseum?

That's what I did for the Dogs (2 times: once for Gold, once for Crystal), and Latios. It works like a charm.

I know my replys are usually wordy but I did say I didn't get Suicine yet. For FR, anyway.

There are many ways and opinions on how to catch Pokemon, so when you ask other people, you are going to get tons of different ones. Just make up strategies of your own, asking other people won't help much.
