Default A Glitch-ish Thing

Has anybody ever noticed that in areas like Pokémon Square, if you keep tapping the control pad in a certain direction rapidly, your character will move without stepping?

Has anybody tried this?

I finished Gold with a pokedex of 6.

That's not a glitch. It's just a way the walking animation is. The walking animation starts with "frame 1", or, the "standing still" frame. Then it goes into stepping frames, goes back to standing still, then steps with the other foot (repeat).

That is simply making the animation start from "frame 1" while your character is moving, and stopping suddenly then moving again restarts it at "frame 1" again. ;)

And that's why I said glitch-ISH. It's a frame issue.
