Dawn`s fate

No, this is not about Dawn dying or anything, but more her remaining time on the show. With an extreme chance that a Gen V will be released, and the trend of replacing the female character alive, will Dawn go May and Misty`s way? I don`t like Dawn, but let`s please not bash her into the wall or anything.

I think she'll stay. She is more popular then May ever has and all the little girls love Dawns Piplup.

i think dawn is gonna go since they started with the whole switching of the female main character at the start of a new generation thing, they should keep with it. and hopefully not have such an annoying character as her with the new gen.... not to bash on dawn or anything, i've just never liked her...

Dawn better leave. Dawn and May had major flaws; Dawn was sexist, and May was just... eugh. Horrible, let's say that. I don't want to use the adjective that best describes her.

What ought to happen is that Dawn leaves, and Misty comes back. But that's far from reality. But it would make me get up at 7:00 in the morning to see Pokémon.

I say Dawn gets replaced. If she plays in any more movies past Movie 13, I'm going to get upset. Misty must remain the girl in more Pokémon movies than the other two! D:<

I do agree that Misty was sexist. I hope they bring Misty back when Ash goes back to Johto.

I think Dawn will definitely leave. Once the next gen rolls around, they're not gonna want Piplup being the star of the show anymore, no matter how many people like it or Dawn's character.

We have to remember that the anime is basically an advertisement for the games. They're gonna wanna give the next generation as much exposure as possible, and that means getting rid of Dawn and the majority of the Sinnoh Pokemon that are currently owned by the main characters.

Most likely the new female character for the gen V games will replace her. For a change, I'd love her to be an accomplished trainer who decides to join Ash and can hold her own against him (basically like Misty), rather than a newbie he has to tutor.

Better still, replace Brock with a new trainer and bring Misty back... though we all know that won't happen. =P

Damit, its time to add more people to the pack! mabey the 5th gen will be a surpremely large and epicly big so they will rely on more people.
Probably bring all the old people back (misty, may, max, tracy) and add 1 new one (sexier female xD) want to bring

And if they want to take Dawn away just remove piplup (spot light hogger)

Dawn will have an obscure reason to leave, Ash will say aw, Brock will be whatever, Pikachu will be Pika, I will be YEAH GO GET OUT, and then the episode will end.

Thus is the fate of the generation 5's lady character. And 6, and 7, and 30, and however many more I could list but are too lazy to do so.

I think either Mamoswine and Piplup leave or all of Dawn's Pokemon do. Piplup is just a stage hogger and...ugh...I hate piplups!! Mamoswine is to lazy...and I don't really like lazy people that can roll over and squash you.
