Well at least this Generation brought out a crapload of new type combinations!! There's even a new pure Flying-type :D. I will admit I did expect a little more of a pokémon like Reshiram and Zekrom when the Dragon/Tce legendary was revealed but it it looks completely different. Too bad it is believed to get the overused ability Pressure instead of something that could rival Turboblaze and and Teravoltage. Hopefully it can get a move similar to Cross Flame and Cross Thunder. Cross Blizzard sounds like a cool name that would fit.
Right now, I'd have to say the turtles are my favorites. The Jellyfish, Denchura, lampreys, and Chobomaki (the clam with the knight's helmet) are all up there as well.
Calling version exclusives on:
Chobomaki/Kaburuchi (knight clam and knight bug)
Nageki/Dageki (I know PxP originally said the first evolves into the second, but their base stat totals are the same and very differently distributed. I'm thinking counterparts rather than an evo line).
Anteater/Ant (seem like they might have a Zangoose/Seviper-esque relationship)
Also, I'm looking forward to seeing these in the URPG Story list come April (or w/e). Gonna be fun thinking up shizz to catch 'em with. I'm starting now. :)
SotaOMG (10:05:46 PM): i think stunky is sexy
iamnotyou11 (10:05:54 PM): Soda stop being gay email@example.com (10:06:03 PM): ironic statement?
I can probably take some grading requests now. But don't all rush me at once. :/
First of all, am I the only one surprised by all of the Bug/Steel types added?
Also, I've already picked the mons I'll be using if I get the game.
Jaroda - Base 95 Def/Sdef and 113 Speed, oh boy.
Muurando - Base 100 Atk, Base 90 Def/Sdef, Intimidate, Nyurgh likes.
Yanakki, Baokki, Hiyakki - All have Base 98 Atk/Satk... not bad.
Gigaisu - BASE 135 ATK, BASE 130 DEF, oh my god Pure Rock.
Roospushin - Wow, what an ugly-looking clown.
Doreida - 110 Satk, 90 Spd
Warubiaru - Ground/Dark-type.
Desukan - 145 Def, 105 Sdef, but that Speed...
Abagoora - it just looks cool
Aakeso - 140 Base Attack, 110 Base Speed @_@
Shubarugo - Bug/Steel is my favorite typing, 135 Base attack doesnt hurt.
Shanderea - Fire/Ghost with Flash Fire and 145 Base Satk.
Ononokusu - it just looks beast.
Tsunbeea - HURR POLAR BEAR
Goroggu - Fuggin', giant robot. Ground/Ghost is a bit iffy though.
Kirikizan - Yay for x4 Fighting weakness
Ainto - see Shubarugo comment
Sazando - DAYUM, 3-headed dragon
Genosekuto - Wow, just wow.
Man, I thought G4 had some wierd pokemon, but G5 totally blows G4's wierdness factor out of the water! G5 has ice cream cones, trash bags, Pokemon in karate outfits, wierd looking djinns, and whatever the heck Shinpora is! Still, there are a lot of pokemon I think look cool, like a lot of the new ghost pokemon, Shubarugo, Erufuun, Abagoora and Hihidaruma. I hope we get a worldwide release date soon.
My preference is for ghost type pokemon, and I must say... I am extremely impressed.
Desukan is probably the coolest looking ghost since Dusknoir. One of those will be on my team for sure.
Burunkeru looks pretty cool too, and it will be nice to have a ghost/water hybrid. I just wonder what Cursed Body does.
Correction: Shanderaa is probably the coolest looking ghost... of all of them. Whoever thought of a ghost/fire type chandelier needs to get a raise... I mean really. That is probably the most badass pokemon that will ever exist. Damn... I can't wait to get one of those.
Goruggo looks interesting too. It will be interesting to see if he gets anything better than Shadow Punch to take advantage of that high base attack and iron fist ability.
In addition to the ghosts, there are also a bunch of cool grass and ice pokemon. I always did kind of like the ice type but never really liked the selection of pokemon.
There are a couple of wierd looking ones (like the monkeys...), but overall, I am very impressed... far more so than I was at the start of the 4th gen.
Oh my gosh!!!!! Yay!!! The cute ghost/candle is fo' realz!!!! Meloia, it looks like a legend to me, forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think is adorable!!! *Squee!* ^.^ Birijion looks a whole crapload too similar to Shaymins sky form, >.< Washibion (Wargle's pre-evo) is so cute! :D Kibago goes from cute to totally B.A., I WANT EMONGA!!!! Just for keeps :)
Fun fact time!:L
1- Gymnastics is the most-watched summer Olympic sport:3
2- Uh... crapXD I ran out of fun facts:P
Whatever I may have once said about the games earlier, I now take back.
This stuff is too epic. : D And since the characters are older, I'll be expecting something a /little/ bit darker than usual. That Team Plasma better go PETA or go home. :3
pokemon is still designed for mainly for kids. there will be no darker story. blame the millions of kids nintendo has hypnotised. but what i dont gey was how they expect kids to grasp the idea of ev's.

->Highest rated american on random match-ups double!!!
The Ghost-types... the Ghost-types! They are, by far, my favorite Pokemon of this region. Ghost/Fire? Ghost/Water? I am impressed. I will definitely have more than one Ghost-type on my team.
Am I the only one, though, that's disappointed with the lack of Eeveelutions?
Washibon is the cutest thing! So fluffly. <3
Though a lot of these Pokemon look weird, I have to say it seems I'll like Isshu more than Sinnoh.
haha yea, like I said earlier, I am so happy at the additional ghost types being added. Iv already got two teams of four ghosts and it looks like im going to have another come spring.
But yea, the only thing that disappointed me more than the lack of a grass/dragon type was the lack of any more eeveelutions. I was hoping that the designers might break down and give us one more eeveelution for each of the remaining types... but I guess we'll have to wait on that.
