If anyone has seen the new Black + White updates, you'll have seen the Pokemon 'Cherine'. I tried to make a 4th gen version using parts from other Pokemon.



I think I was successful. ^^ There is Oddish, Skiploom, Budew and Igglybuff in there.

You were indeed successful. It looks quite good. Though, you do know that Castform has a very similar structure. In order to have made things easier, you should've used it instead.

The, uh, head covering is tilted a weird way. It's also too dark.

It looks nice though. <3

I agree with Disco, looks pretty well rounded, the only problem I see is that the head lacks shading. :L

@Retro: The head has shading, maybe it's just too light. Make it darker?

I did a scratch sprite. After I got to the head, I was lazy and pretty much just copied the head pixel-by-pixel from the actual sprite. Something looks weird to me, but overall I'm proud of it.



EDIT: Custom colors.

CnC is always good.

It's fairly cute, but the eyes need to have more depth and outlines. The green things around its head need to be rounder on the head, and the green leaves around its neck need to be much smaller. The head needs to be bigger as well, and you need much more shading. But well done for a first try. ^^

The body seems rather rigid and especially up near the neck, on its back (where the blue is) the outlines aren't properly curved. It's a bit too thin at the neck and has a random dip on its back. The belly is definitely confused, as you have it facing to the right to begin with, then it looks like the body's being rolled over, and then it continues like normal when it goes behind the sprite. Very strange. The blue is pretty dark and I'd suggest a much softer blue. The light and dark shades also don't show up well because of how dark the blue is. The head is fine shape-wise, and the tail needs to have more sparkle and light shading like other dragonair sprites do. I'd suggest taking a look at some dragonair sprites to work out how to position the belly (white) and the shape, since the shape of yours is a pretty common one.

Ooh, Speed, that's beautiful. *w* I can barely tell it's pixel art! Your detail is phenomenal, and really, I love the outlines. Intricate and very well done. The pose is wonderful too, and judging by those other scratches, you'll will by miles. I'd really like to learn your style. ^^ But yeah, really awesome. :D

I think it's good, but something about the arms just looks a little off to me. Like, the pose of the right (its left) arm looks a little odd. And the way the left (its right) fits onto the body.

I dunno, I can't really think how to describe it well...
