And as far as the Pokemon World is concerned, I don't know yet! This is before human arrival and before the Kyogre/Groudon battle, so the continents could be of a completely different shape. Dark Lord mentioned that his character is from Sinnoh, so many Sinnoh wasn't affected by the cataclysm? I don't know, I just pictured the Mediterranean area of the Roman Empire but with Pokemon xD

Name: Nate
Species: Piplup
Age: 13
Physical Description: Nate is smaller than most Piplups his age but his beak is longer and sharper than the other Piplups' beaks. He his body is light blue and his beak is yellow. His feet are also yellow like his beak. The back of his head is a dark blue as well as his back and neck. He has black eyes and a white mask-like spot around his eyes and under his beak. He looks like most Piplups besides the length of his beak and the sharpness of his beak.
History: Neptune was born into a family of Empoleon, Prinplup and Piplups. They were all great and strong warriors. But Neptune was different from the others. He was stronger than most of the warriors in his village, but he didn't like to fight as much. His father, Neptune, was the strongest of the warriors and his mother, Mercury took care of all of the younglings. When it came time for Nate to graduate from his lessons to become a warrior of his tribe he refused to fight because he didn't want to spend the rest of his life fighting. So he was exiled from his tribe.

He eventually ended up in PokeRome. He met his best friend Zora, a friendly Togekiss just before he arrived in PokeRome. He was on his way to PokeRome when he was attacked by a pack of Mightyena. No matter how hard Nate fought he was outnumbered and outpowered. Zora stepped in and saved him. Since then they have been together through it all. They lived in PokeRome until they were abducted and now are on the run together with the other run-aways.

Species: Cyndaquil
Age: 15
Physical Description: Cynder is faster than alot of Quilava. She has slightly shorter legs and arms than most Cyndaquil. Her flame on her back is larger and hotter than most Cyndaquil. She has a yellow underbelly. But she has a lighter tone of yellow on her underbelly than most of her species. That makes her different than other Cyndaquil. Other than those differences above she is the same as other Cyndaquil.
History: Cynder never knew her parents were because when she was but a a newborn she was lost and alone in a forest. A kind Blissey named Linda raised her as if her own child. Cynder lived happily for a time in the forest with Linda. Then one day their forest was attacked by a pack of Houndoom. They burned down a great portion of the forest. Luckily Linda and Cynder were able to escape.

They had migrated to another forest that was south of theirs. They lived their for a long time, but then a devastating earthquake hit. It wiped out all of the forest and the pokemon who had lived in it. All except Cynder, she awoke wounded the morning after the earthquake. She found no one in site, all had been buried by the quake. She flew off never to return. She was on her way to PokeRome when she spotted a Piplup, Nate, being attacked by Mightyena. She saved and him they both became best friends. Cynder was captured by Nero as they were barely settling in to the city. Now she is on the run with Nate by her side.

Alright, both sign-ups are nice, save for some choppy writing, but on the whole, excellent job!

mickmon95: I can't stress the use of choppy sentences enough! The history section was kind of difficult to read because of all of the periods. Check this out:

That's my edits of your history section. You see how it flows a little bit better? Finding the right balance between choppy and run-on sentences can be tough to do, but it's an important skill to have, so I'd like you to work on that.

Also, it strikes me that there's no mention as to how Cynder gets captured by Nero and escapes, other than that she met Nate. Can you tell me about that? He's virtually accepted, but I just need a bit more. Good work so far!

Name: Venus

Species: Vulpix

Age: 20

Physical Description: Undeniably, Venus is much more beautiful but a bit more petite than the average Vulpix, with sparkling sienna-coloured eyes and thick, luxurious fur that leads to six tails that imitate fire perfectly. She has a bright cream underbody that never gets streaked with mud or dirt and the fur on her head between her ears looks just like her tail.

Being smaller than the average Vulpix can also have its advantages, what with Venus being quite agile and nimble, dashing around unnoticed in larges crowds and hiding in places that normal-sized Vulpix could not go.

History: Venus was born in a tribe of Ninetails and Vulpix that shared a fierce rivalry with a neighbouring clan made up of Arcanine and Growlithe that were constantly fighting over a huge fire stone crystal between where the two tribes lived. Because each time a Pokemon uses an evolutionary stone it disappears after use, you can sort of guess why they were fighting, can't you?

Long ago when the tribes were first created, they made a pact to share the fire stone crystal equally and only let a certain amount of Pokemon evolve daily so equal numbers of Pokemon in their tribes evolved, and no tribe had an unfair advantage over the other in strength. So they carried this system happily, until one day, both tribes discovered that much more of the crystal had disappeared than is usually should have, and began accusing each other of using the crystal unfairly when the other tribe was looking, when it actually turned out to be a travelling pack of Eevee. Neverless, a huge war broke out and many Pokemon were severely injured. Neither tribe won, so their rivalry continued, fights breaking out each time whenever they saw each other.

Venus, disliking fighting immensely as she sees it as a waste of time and energy, decided to move away to PokeRome. However, the move away from all the fighting was pointless because she was captured by Nero's minions within the first few days of arriving there.

Name: Leyton
Species: Grovyle
Age: 17

Physical Description
Apparently a cross between a dinosaur and a gecko, Leyton stands at vaguely a metre tall. His body shape lends him agility and a swiftness to his motions that often leaves other Pokémon in the dust. His thin arms are surprisingly strong, tipped with curved claw-like fingers and both adorned with three leaves that splay out, as fans, from his wrists. His jaw, neck and stomach are crimson; his belly is striped with a single green line. Leyton’s eyes are both large and yellow, and a long, thin leaf erupts from his head, curving down almost to the ground. His nostrils are thin and slanted. His tail compromises of two tapered leaves, and his feet are like that of the bird.

History
Leyton was part of a tribe made up of his evolutionary line. They lived deep in one of the largest forests in history, and despite the fact that they were cut off from a lot of civilization, they advanced quite quickly and easily. Leyton’s family consisted of his father and mother, older brother, younger brother and younger sister. He was relatively happy and his siblings liked him. His father scrutinized his actions quite often, expecting him to grow up and join the Guard like his older brother, but his mother doted on him and he spent several years in contentment.

In due course, the older members of the tribe were expected to do chores to help out. Choosing his favourite object in the world- food- Leyton set out one red evening to search for a supply to bring back to the tribe, with his younger brother.

Both were captured.

His younger brother isn’t with him. They got dragged off separately. Leyton’s searching for him. n_n
