Question Wat must I do with : Red Orb, Scanner and Root Fossil

are Red Orb, Scanner and Root Fossil of any use ?! Must I bring them to someone or what ?...

- Ruben

PS: Also a second little question, but i didn't want to specially make a post for it : why is it always raining on route 119 ?! Always when i go there it starts thundering and raining... And thats just that place of the weather station. Dos it has any special meaning ?! Or just handy to fight with electric pokemon (since the move 'thunder' dosn't miss if it's raining)

It's programmed in the game to make it more realistic.

Red Orb: Used for nothing.
Scanner: If i'm sure you give it to the Sea Captain and he'll give you a choice of either A fang or something else. Both can be used to evolve Clamperal into Huntail or Gorebeyyes (SP?).
Root Fossil: Give to the man on the top floor of the Devon corp and he'll revive it into a pokemon.

I'll try to fix my post soon because I didn't give enough info.

You use the red orb to get groudon after you do that you can go to the top of Mt. Pyre (If you want to of course because I just wanted it to get out of my keyitems section) and give it to the old lady and you will see the boss of team magma.

When you get the scanner you can give it to capt stern he is in slateport city and he is in the fairy entrence.

The root fossil you can give to the devon corp to make it into a pokemon just go to the 2 floor of the devon corp and the third row of computers theirs a guy sitting their talk to him and he will tell you to come back later for your pokemon.

And about the rain its just scenery I guess

for the rain, it is to make your process of finding Feebas as slow & annoying as possible.

Red Orb: after u caught Groudon, go to top of Mt. Pyre to return it to the old couple.

Scanner: go to slaport city ferry entrance, u can see cap. stern. give him the scanner, u can choose to have deep sea scale(clamperl -> Gorebyss) or deep sea tooth(clamperl-> Huntail).

Root fossil: wt PF said.
