14 points in 9 games back in 2008, and was a huge factor in a 1st round series win against Minnesota. He says his foot feels better than it did back then, and he's still Peter Forsberg. I can safely say that no matter what condition he plays in, he'd still be better than 50% of the forwards out there. He kept up well with the young squad in practice, so hopefully he comes back. It would be amazing (and a little surreal) to see Duchene and Forsberg play together.

Fuck yeah, page 2!

The Avs had a number of Boston U players... including his partner Kevin Shattenkirk. The problem? Colorado has way too many defensive prospects, so we traded one for a current need. Maybe if a few years I'd say we should have kept Cohen over Hunwick... but for now, Hunwick is a key part of the team.

By the way, how do you think that Duchene will compare to Joe Sakic?

I think his breakaway top corner snipe in the All-Star Game speaks for itself.

Speaking of the All-Star Game, how did you like the new format?

It was great... just accuracy shooting in the skills competition shouldn't be head-to-head. They need to keep that as it used to be (individual), the rest is perfect imo.

Keep forgetting about this thread.

The Bruins showed that they were the superiors in their 8-6 win.

Quality game of hockey though, and keep in mind that was a Canadiens roster lacking Markov, Gorges, and Cammalleri. Sadly, Markov and Gorges are out for the year...

Gomez needs to start earning his ridiculous wad of cash...

Hmm. I'll have what he's having.

But not what Kovi's having.

Gomez makes more than Kovi (until 2012-13 anyways). God the Rangers are dumb for ever paying him this much.

Unrelated: ha ha.

So why in the world would Montreal take him?

EDIT: 9-3?

I have no damn idea, they did get Tommy Pyatt from that trade too, and I'd still take Gomez over Chris Higgins any day. But still... wtf.

And, look at the penalties.

Aww. I would've loved to watch all of them penalties.

(Gomez sucks.)

EDIT: But yeah, that was some game.
