English Names Revealed!
The Isshu region is now called the Unova region.
Tsuarja, the Grass Snake Pokemon, is now called Snivy (snake & ivy).
Pokabu, the Fire Pig Pokemon, is now called Tepig (tepid & pig).
Mijumaru, the Sea Otter Pokemon, is now called Oshawott.

Re: English Names Revealed!
I know this is legitimate, but you should still put up a link for the proof.
Way to butcher the names there, Nintendo. I'm not a fan of these names at all. Just wtf is an Oshawatt? And Tepig? Snivy makes sense, but eww. And why in the world would they make the english name COMPLETELY different? Unova sounds nothing like Isshu. Ooh I hope the other names don't let me down.

Re: English Names Revealed!
Ughhh
Everyone will get used to them, but I am surprised that Isshu was changed so drastically. All the other regions have kept similar names. Oshawatt is weird but it at least sounds sorta like a Pokemon name... Snivy and Tepig sound like words, not names though. Snivy reminds me of the word snivel... don't like it xD
Edit: Tsutaja's French name is cool: Vipélierre. Would even prefer that xD
Edit2: "United States 'OV' America"... trust...

T__________________________T
I just saw them right now.
Unova isn't that bad once I got used to it but I still like Isshu better.
But Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott are the crappiest names I've ever seen.
Oshawott is the only one that sounds like a Pokemon's name and it's pretty crappy.
I don't think I'm ever getting used to these names.

Re: English Names Revealed!
Oshawott sounds decent, but how much thought was put into Snivy and Tepig? Not much.
I haven't grown onto the English region name. Why did they even bother changing it? We got the past regions straight from Japanese, no?

Re: English Names Revealed!
I'm definitely naming my Oshawott "Osh- Wut" now.
I'm kind of happy they renamed the region, just because nobody will have to see anyone replace "issue" with "Isshu" as a bad cliché anymore. :x
And remember folks, Snivy will always be Smugleaf to the internets. <3

Re: English Names Revealed!
Snivy...
Yeah prepare for a ton of Poke-Potter jokes everyone...
Oshawott...sounds like 'ocelot' in my opinion.
Tepig...one letter off of 'tepid'...yeah that's kinda...yeah Pokabu was better...
Unova...
U no vatt? I've got an isshu wid dat...
That were my first thoughts on the english name...though it's not too bad.

Re: English Names Revealed!
I actually like the name Oshawott. I'll find one million ways to word "Wott" into any conversation.
Snivy...it remindes me of the word Savvy.
Tepig<Pokabu, in my opinion. I'll rename it if I get it.
