1. Single battle, 1 Pokemon each
2. DQ: Three Days
3. Damage Caps: 50
4. Restrictions: - No OHKOs. - Three Chills.
5. Arena: A basic field. With short grass.

Being the faster of the two, Rotom moved first. He concentrated a good deal of his energy into his soul. In a few moments, a golden aura emerged from within it. The golden energy soon morphed into a translucent dome, surrounding the creature. The orb would serve to halve the damage of physical attacks taken by Rotom for five actions, including the current. [Rotom -5 Energy, REFLECT]

Happie, meanwhile, moved about energetically. He jumped from side to side, glowing a crimson-reddish color. The aura enveloped the creature fully, but only momentarily. During the short amount of time the energy had surrounded the Mankey, it had raised his attack and special attack statuses. [Mankey -7 Energy, ATK+1, SPATK+1]

Since it was ordered to use Will-O-Wisp, it managed to transform the dome into a wall instead. The golden-colored wall would still have the same effect on physical attacks. This way, the Rotom would be able to perform Will-O-Wisp. The next moment, Rotom had popped his head up above the Reflect. Its mouth opened, releasing a wave of small glowing flames. The orange embers traveled rapidly through the air, directly hitting the foe. Happie was burnt by the hot flames. [Rotom -4 Energy/Mankey BRN]

The Mankey tried his best to shake of the burning pain from Rotom's attack. He gave the creature an angry glare as he gathered his power for Assurance. A dark aura of wicked thoughts and intentions of doing harm surrounded Happie. After collecting all these thoughts and intentions for a few more moments, she charged toward the target, smacking into the wall. However, Rotom was still inflicted with some amount of damage. He was bounced back to his side of the battlefield due to the Reflect. [Rotom -4HP/Mankey -10 Energy]

As he reached his area of the grassy ground, he cringed. He felt the earlier Will-O-Wisp's pain once more. The burn status ailment damaged him internally. [Mankey -4HP]

Behind the transparent golden wall, Rotom was using yet another status move. It was glowing again, this time a white, heavenly glow. The light was brightest around its eyes, arms--limbs actually--and chest. This was the move Telekinesis, though it was hard to decipher what the move was exactly because it looked like any other status move. When the glow vanished, Rotom seemed brighter and more alert. It suddenly felt deep within it that Thunder would surely hit the Mankey later on, no doubt about it. [Rotom -6 Energy]

Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, Happie had a liquid coming up rapidly through her throat. She cringed feeling and tasting the toxic bubbles that sparked in her mouth. Once she had gotten enough, or maybe when she could not stand the horrid taste, she pat out the poison in an orb. The purple sphere sped through the air, landing on the wall. Unfortunately, the wall had not been designed to reflect special-typed moves as well as status moves. The toxic seeped in, pouring onto the Rotom's delicate body. It yelped in pain as the poison flooded into his bloodstream. Fortunately, it was not damaged... Yet... [Rotom TXC/Mankey -8 Energy]

Remembering his trainer's commands, Rotom initiated gathering power and energy for Thunder. Its blue outer part started glowing brightly, first a light blue color, then suddenly changing to yellow. Electric sparks crackled all around it as it charged a load of its electrical energy. A moment later, it floated above its golden wall, releasing the energy as a big erratic beam. Rotom fired the massive burst of electricity skyward, causing the Mankey to laugh at what seemed to be a failed attempt. But Rotom knew better than to scowl or glare back, it knew the attack would hit, just let the opponent wait and see. The next instant, a thundering sound was heard as the lightning-like streak returned from the skies straight down towards Happie. It landed directly on the enemy, shocking it harshly. Lucky for the Mankey, she did not get paralyzed. [Rotom -8 Energy/Mankey -10HP]

A dark aura of wicked thoughts and intentions of doing harm surrounded Happie once more as she shook off the last bits of electric shocks that surged through her body. As before, she collected all these thoughts and intentions for few more moments, before charging toward the target, and smacking into the wall. However, like the previous round, Rotom was still inflicted with some amount of damage. She was bounced back to her side of the battlefield due to the Reflect. [Rotom -4HP/Mankey -10 Energy]

As Happie gets back to her zone, she feels a hot sensation burning her. Memories of the Will-O-Wisp are brought back as she cringes in pain, taking damage once more. [Mankey -4HP] Well, she was not the only one who took some damage. Rotom felt the toxic surge through its body, invading its blood. The poison dealt some damage to it internally, as well, it was less, though. [Rotom -2HP]

Wait, how come the stats at the end of the round are the same as before? We both hit each other so there should be a loss of energy and health... I think?

Rotom's upper part moves up from the protection of its shied. Its eyes begin to glow a dark purple color, shadowy figures emerging from within. The figures dance in the darkness that the Rotom had created around him. They merge, forming a purple-colored mist above his head, which soon forms into an elliptical circle. It was a scary sight as a ghostly eye opens up from the center of the imperfect orb. Waves of dark purple and dark blue energy are released at a rapid speed by the eye towards the Mankey. The streaks hit their target dead on, dealing a load full of damage due to Happie having a status ailment. [Rotom - 7 Energy/Mankey -9HP]

After recovering from the powerful Hex attack, Happie set to work on lowering the opponent's defenses. He began dancing wildly from side to side - somewhat like a tribal dance. After which, he had started singing along, it was not much of a song, though. It was more of maniacal shouts and screams that really hurt the ear. Both trainers' hands had shot up to cover their ears as the fighting type continued his move wildly. The Rotom could clearly be seen cringing and wincing in pain as the shouts and shrieks rumbled on in, and through, its head. It sighed heavily in pain as Eishiba's creature finally stopped. [Rotom DEF-2/Mankey -8 Energy]

The golden wall soon disappeared afterwards, its aura slowly dissipated into thin air. Rotom knew Happie was planning another attack, thus, obeying its trainer, began to form another shield. Again, it concentrated its energy into its very soul, trying to bring out the aura from within. It could be seen glowing as yellow-golden energy emerged, surrounding it in a foggy mist. In a few moments, the mist became one shining wall that would serve to lessen the amount of damage its body would take from physical attacks. [Rotom -5 Energy, REFLECT]

Happie growled unhappily - contrary to his name, he was just about to deliver a strong physical attack, and yet the Rotom had set up a Reflect once more. No matter, he thought to himself, remembering his trainer's order. I got to lower its defense, so this should still hurt it. As before, an aura full of dark wicked thoughts surrounded him. Intentions of doing a good load of damage filled up the orb that had enveloped him. The darkness that graced his surroundings almost hid him from view entirely as he charged swiftly towards the wall that awaited him. He braced himself for the impact as he rammed into the shield, the dark energy seeping in to hurt the Rotom as he bounced backwards. [Rotom -4HP/Mankey -10 Energy]

As Happie gets back to her zone, she feels a hot sensation burning her. Memories of the Will-O-Wisp are brought back as she cringes in pain, taking damage once more. [Mankey -4HP] Well, she was not the only one who took some damage. Rotom felt the toxic surge through its body, invading its blood. The poison dealt some damage to it internally, as well. It felt more pain compared to last round as the toxic poisoning rushed through his bloodstream and body at a faster rate...[Rotom -4HP]

If they use any more status inflicting moves use Sub, otherwise use Hex, follwed by Hex
