Default Help a newbie with his team.

I need help with my team. I've just finished Mount Pyre and am on my way to the seventh gym. I have around 15 hours played. Basically I need help on deciding which pokemon to train up, which moves to use and which pokemon I should think about catching.

Here is my team

Level 41 Blaziken
Quick Claw
Quick Attack
Bulk Up
Double Kick
Blaze Kick

Level 32 Pikachu
Quick Attack
Double Team
Slam
Thunderbolt

Level 39 Swellow
Aerial Ace
Facade
Steel Wing
Hidden Power

Level 39 Sableye
Faint Attack
Astonish
Night Shade
Shock Wave

HM Pokemon Level 25 Tropius
Strength
Rock Smash
Fly
Flash

HM Pokemon Level 21 Linoone
Surf
Cut
Dig
Thief

Any help at all is appreciated!

I would say it seems you would benefit from a dual-type grass type or a dragon type. considering your team right now and depending on your version, I would also say get either a zangoose, seviper, or gardevoir in emerald (if I remember correctly, and I could be wrong, I remember that in emerald a kirlia was able to learn magical leaf). also, this is all just from my memory of the ruby/sapphire games, I haven't played them in so long :/

This isn't a competitive team, so I'm going to lock this. As a general rule, progressing in game can be achieved simply through levelling up whatever you happen to have, so just use your favourites [=
