It won't make any difference if every cinema charges that much. I don't even bother going to the movies anymore unless it's something awesome. It's cheaper to buy the DVD when it comes out than for 1 person to go to the movie. xD

people care too much about video and audio quality these days, back in the days people didnt care if the display was blurry or stanic, or if the audio was somewhat dull

I live in NYC so movie tickets for Adults here are around $14-18. :/

Sucks for you. Some cinemas in London are £6 which I think is $10. Well Greater London, not the stereotypical parts of London.

A bit less (google says about $9.61.) Kinda sucks, but then again I don't go out to movies often. When I do, I'm usually all for the movie and am willing to spend as much as I do to watch it in the cinema. Sometimes it pays off and I buy it when it comes out on blu-ray to watch it again in the future, sometimes it doesn't. Really just a game of chance, its all good fun. ^^
