Default Is your computer British?

I have a Mac Mini that auto-corrects words like "center" and "color" into "centre" and "colour." I've been told it is a common occurrence but I wanted to get the opinions of other computer users.

My computer was preprogrammed to accept both ways of spelling, so no.

Mine isn't. I have my iPod Touch programmed to spell and recognize words both the American and UK way, though.

I write Harry Potter fanfiction *paints NERD sign on head*, so I set my computer to only recognize UK spellings.

Mine recognizes center and centre, theatre and theater, but not color and colour.

I have my laptop set on Canadian English, so it prefers colour to color, for example, although it accepts either one. I voted British though, since our English is technically closer to theirs, in terms of spelling anyway.

Psh...I wish it was. But, no, I have a Mac Book Pro, and it recognizes American spellings. Although, I personally enjoy British English more so than our own.

Mine changes color into colour, and center into centre. WHICH IS GOOD.

Well, I spell "theater" as "theatre" naturally. xD It is just how I spell it.

Mine auto-corrects to American English, but I write in British English most of the time. Y'know, since I've lived in England since I was 5. We got this laptop in Britain so I don't know why it is set to American spelling.

I have been all over the world, and all of my computers have always accepted both ways of spelling. xD

My computer doesn't often correct "color" into "colour"... because I spell it right in the first go. xD

The strange thing is that my computer doesn't correct Aluminum into Aluminium.
