Ash and Pikachu unreal - Pokemon Forum

I want to make this to talk about how in the show Ash kinda gets his lucky unreal wins. I'm not saying he's a cheater but, it's kinda stupid because it seems like he is deflying pokemon rules in battle doing impossible stuff don't some of you think. His lucky impossible wins telling his pokemon to get up for a second wind of energy likes its bull crap. Pikachu has done tons of unreal things to defeating rock pokemon before he got iron tail ya like come on what do you think.

Well, it's a cartoon show originally meant for kids. Kids would weep in sorrow if their favorite character was beaten constantly like he would be if it were real. That said, it is just a cartoon show and shouldn't be looked into so much. I rest my case lol.

I find it hilarious that even though Ash has had Pikachu for a really long time, Pikachu seems to struggle in almost every battle it's in. Yet it can make Team Rocket blast off in every episode??

I also find this silly,

What I find stupid is the fact that he's been on TV since past 1999, but he's only 12, and he started when he was 10. He should be twenty.

Yes. And by that logic Bart Simpson should be 30.

But I agree, that Ash does win unreal wins.

And something I've noticed was Ash's Pikachu was defeated by a Panpour. .____.

I mean, Panpour is level like 15 and Pikachu is level 50 some. I mean really.

1. Ash will never age, unless they do so for some important reason.

2. If they were realistic with Pikachu and his battle count, he would probably lvl 80ish like in HG.

3. Team Rocket isn't intelligent. A child could blast them off. Actually, I think they did....oh well.

Pikachu is like level 1000. Seriously, it beats something in almost every episode, thus gaining experience. I'm pretty sure that if the show was realistic, Pikachu could beat Arceus.

Well ash should at least grow one year older every region for one. Also thats why you are suppose to use new pokemon for a new region pikachu is like level 1000 and struggles. It's unreal and ash has a lot of unreal wins to gym battles. It also feels like super effectiveness only occurs half the time you know. There just some stuff that shouldn't happen in pokemon strong pokemon losing to weak pokemon they don't even use every move in the games.

It's silly, but I think you're overthinking it a little. Ash is the type of main character that basically never loses, despite anything else. There really isn't much to it.

It can get pretty ridiculous, I mean a lot of the situations in which he wins / loses...but it's all just to drive the plot of the episode / arc.
