Round Five

Haybalebarn

[Striker]Absol(F)
HP: 63%
Energy: 52%
+4ATK

Latio-Reol

[RAAM]Larvitar(M)
HP: 81%
Energy:84%

Striker was able to get in the first strike. Or in this case, the first chill. It laid down and began to chill out for a moment as it wanted to gain some energy back. It made little noises as they echoed through out the arena. It felt nice to get to relax during a heated battle. (Striker +6 energy)

RAAM was ready to shake things up. It jumped up into the air, causing ripples to flow from where it stood. It watched the shockwaves cause Striker to try its hardest not to fall over. Striker fell to the ground, unable to stand from the shaking ground. Once it had stopped, Striker stood up. (RAAM -18 energy) (Striker -19 HP)

Striker didn't like this RAAM for shaking the ground like that. It jumped into the air and aimed one of its paws at RAAM. As it came down, it pounded the top of RAAM's head. RAAM staggered around as the pound hurt. The move had been super effective. The move however, left Striker weaker. (Striker -14 energy -1ATK -1DEF) (RAAM -40 HP)

RAAM continued on its Earthquake streak, sending shockwaves in the direction of Striker. However, the weakened Striker took more damage this time. (RAAM -18 energy) (Striker -21 HP)

Haybalebarn

[Striker]Absol(F)
HP: 23%
Energy: 44%
+3ATK -1DEF

Latio-Reol

[RAAM]Larvitar(M)
HP: 41%
Energy:48%

"Nice going Striker. Now, your base command is this. Use Superpower, then Bite. However, if at any moment RAAM protects or the pokemon is switched out, use Double Team. If the Pokemon was switched on the first move, and is resistant to dark type moves, use Fury Cutter. If you are taunted and then RAAM protects or detects, use Fury Cutter as well. I think that about covers everything."

Sorry, Haybale, but you haven't.

RAAM, sub at 1HP, then Earthquake. RAAM has not used protect, so Striker should use Superpower.

>rubs hands together in pleasure< This is going to be fun to see how it turns out. You see, there's a flaw with your plan. Striker hits first, so the only thing the sub will block is bite. Now, I wonder how long it will take for a ref to claim this?

Round Six

Haybalebarn

[Striker]Absol(F)
HP: 23%
Energy: 44%
+3ATK -1DEF

Latio-Reol

[RAAM]Larvitar(M)
HP: 41%
Energy:48%

Striker was still the faster of the two. Just as before, Striker used its paw and slammed it as hard as it could down on the top of RAAM's head. The power was incredible. RAAM staggered as the move again proved effective but was taking a physical toll on Striker as it was left weaker. (Striker -14 energy -1ATK -1 DEF) (RAAM -38HP)

RAAM was getting tired. It attempted to protect itself by creating a doll much like itself. It threw the doll into battle after giving it a very very small amount of energy. This should be enough to keep it safe for another round. (RAAM -3 energy -1HP, SUB@1%)

Striker was a little weaker but still had some fight left. It looked at the doll and opened its mouth, biting down as hard as it could. The doll crumbled in Strikers mouth as the doll used up the little energy it had. (Striker 4 energy) (Sub broken)

RAAM now was ready to do some major damage. It jumped into the air, pounding the ground as ripples of shock waves expoded across the ground. The ripples shook Striker violently. Since it was less defensive now, the attack was a little stronger. Striker still stood firm. (RAAM -29 energy) (Striker -16HP)

Haybalebarn

[Striker]Absol(F)
HP: 7%
Energy: 26%
+2ATK -2DEF
Condition: EXHUASTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Latio-Reol

[RAAM]Larvitar(M)
HP: 2%
Energy:16%
Condition: ALSO EXHUASTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, RAAM, you're out. Back to Scyez.

Scyez, Payback Time! Low Kick Striker unless he swaps out too, then use Roar. If Striker Protects or prevents Attacking, or if Striker was Swapped out and the opponent would prevent Roar from working in any way, Chill.

Switch to Scyez~Low Kick/Roar/Chill

Don't let that little lizard get away. Use Pursuit, no mercy. Then, use your own judgement. If you think that you can use Bounce, and you'll be up high enough that you will be able to avoid the roar, then use bounce. However, if you believe that even if you use Bounce you will be roared out, then use Psycho Cut instead. (If the ref wants to roll a dice for which move, that's fine. I just added that in there if someone wanted to try and reason things out.)

Round 7

Striker panted hard, watching as Latio-Reol prepared to draw RAAM back into his pokéball. Growling, the dog-like Pokémon rushed forward, glowing with dark energy. RAAM watched with wide eyes as the red light of his pokéball began to engulf him. Before he could be called back to safety, Striker hit him with quite a blast of power. RAAM groaned and swayed where he stood, falling to his knees as he was pulled back. Striker smirked and stepped back a few paces, waiting to see his next opponent.
[Striker: -6 Energy| RAAM: -21 HP, KO]

Latio-Reol carefully chose his next Pokémon and threw the red and white capsule into the air. A deep blue Pokémon appeared after a flash of red, and Scyez growled in anger at the Pokémon who had hurt her teammate.

Scyez was sent out!

[Scyez] Riolu (Female)
HP: 47%
Energy: 61%
Status: Time to fight…AGAIN...

Striker growled, knowing she was faster than this little pup. She concentrated all the mental energy she could into her head blade before launching herself forward at tremendous speed. Scyez couldn’t react fast enough, and was hit dead on by the psychic attack. Her body shook as she closed her eyes, trying to recover from the blow. Striker panted hard, padding back to her trainer. She wouldn’t be able to hold out much longer….
[Striker: -8 Energy| Scyez: -21 HP]
(Critical hit rolled a 4064, where rolling 1250 or less resulted in a critical hit.)

Scyez knew Striker wasn’t going to switch out and smirked as she straightened her little body. Her little fists clenched and she ran at the Absol, a small battle cry sounding in her throat. Once she got close, she swept her leg around, catching Striker’s knees. The Absol crashed to the ground and didn’t move. Haybalebarn withdrew his fainted Pokémon and Scyez smirked. Payback is a ******!
[Scyez: -26 Energy| Striker: -42 HP, KO]
(Critical hit rolled a 4181, where rolling 625 or less resulted in a critical hit.)

Round 7 END

Latio-Reol

[Scyez] Riolu (Female)
HP: 26%
Energy: 35%
Status: It hurts...but I can do this...!!

Haybalebarn will send out his next Pokémon and give his moves.
Latio-Reol will then post his moves.

Ref Notes:
- Striker move roll was 2, with 2 = Psycho Cut
- Striker did not switch, so Scyez uses roar
- Striker is faster that Scyez, Striker attacks first
- Scyez stats were reset since she was withdrawn earlier in the battle

[Flare] Rapidash (F)
Ability: Flash Fire
Obtained: Starter
Evolved: Evolution Dojo
Signature Move: N/A

Alright Flare, jump all over this thing.

Bounce, then Bounce again if you can. If any protective move is commanded, such as protect or detect, then use Curse on the term the protection is called out, and Flare Blitz on the turn the other move is called out.

I'm here to announce a mutual draw between me and Haybale. Is that possible now?
